  • If I used that level of caution, I'd be saying 'no offense' in front of a lot of things. xD

    That's impressive.
    I always found myself receiving an award or two, but I definitely wasn't an overachiever.
    Kind of a skater, really.

    Ohh. In that case, I'm right there with you.
    I felt the tiniest bit emotional when I graduated but it was because I would miss the school and college environment, not for my classmates.
    The only people that I cared to keep contact with, I've done just that, so there's not really anything else for me to miss.

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby.
But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.'

@Shadow/Malia
I'm doing good thank you! Been enjoying my summer and chilling...

@Shadow
Congrats on graduating!! The actually ceremony is really tedious...I was the same though...I didn't really have anything I would miss at the school and I wasn't teary eyed at all...The only thing I actually enjoyed was tossing my hat into the air...

I guess that's why I tend to erase a lot of things I've said, haha!~ I'm afraid it will offend people, so I take my precautions. It annoys me too... since I can;t exactly express my opinions then.

I've never received any academic rewards—except when I was younger, where I actually did better in school.

@Meg
Thanks, hehe!~ Whaaat I want to toss a hat into the air...

  • I don't think I think about it much. The things that I would tend to offend people about usually aren't very big things and would spark little more than a discussion. Like, I don't think babies are cute. I'm sure someone would be offended by that but not to the point where I'd be afraid to say it. Unless I was in a room full of new mothers. xD But other than that, if I happen to have a thought that's really offensive in general, luckily I'm aware enough to know not to say it.

    I only received one or two during college. Most I've gotten were also when I was younger. School was a lot easier then. Haha.

    At our college graduation, we weren't allowed to toss our hats into the air. D: I think they saw it as a safety hazard or something.

  • If that's your definition of getting fired up, then you must be a pretty tame person. :P
    But I know! It was one of the parts I was really looking forward to.
    And then, nooooope.

But I mean seriously, they are caps...! the worst I can think of is someone getting poked in the eye, but if your graduating, you should have enough common sense to turn your head before it hits you...some people are so stupid... :mcsweat:

  • Exactly. Maybe they just didn't want us scrambling around trying to find our hats and stuff.
    I don't really know.
    All I know is that I didn't throw my hat until later.
    Graduating felt just as good even without being able to throw it, though.
