@Poshi - aah yeah xD I totally went bonkers and spent 200$ on art.. that's about two paychecks for me ;m; I feel like it's definitely worth it though, because I commissioned two pieces each from two high quality artists and I'm really, really excited ;m; even so, I also ordered a 40$ chibi couple for my friend, which I feel like isn't as worth it >.>

I've never traveled out of the country except to China when I was 2 :p
but I think I'm going to Mexico this spring break! Very excited~

I may try travelling interstate more often. We do have a lot of nice things here in Aus that I haven't seen yet.

Are we all ladies here? What do you guys do when your time of the month is real bad? I've been dead in bed for the past 3 days. Yesterday I could barely walk.

I take ibuprofen. I haven't found anything better than that.
Or if you're looking for more natural solutions, taking a bath helps.

My cramps have totally disappeared since I started taking the pill but I don't recommend it if you don't absolutely need it. The cramps might disapear but it has other quite annoying effects.

So I have traveled out of country since it's just so easy but never out of continent.
I'm going to Japan at the end of the month though :D

I've been suggested to go on the pill as well by my GP although not absolutely recommended. I initially wanted to regulate my period. It's irregularity is the main reason for the pain (or so I believe). This is the first time it's hurt this much. I've been sitting around with a hot water bottle on my belly despite the hot weather.

I envy though who live in Europe. Everyone else is so close to your borders and you can take a train to another country j ___ j
I live in Australia. A giant continent with coastal cities and a lot of hot nothings in the middle. Kind of boring D: The desert is rather beautiful when you fly over it though. It's typical desert; orange, cracked but it's stunning from above.

Ah right, you're in Australia so it's summer. It makes the cramps even worse. Or so I have found.
Sitting with the water of hot bottle should have the same effects as a bath (which you can still take, but you need a shower afterwards if you want to be sure to be clean ^^).

I've had that awful pain going every month for years and my period was so regular it was nearly scary (but really practical in a way).
Taking the pill will definitely make it regular but as I said, the side effects can be awful. I've been taking it for 3 months now and so far I've encountered appetite loss (to the point I noticeably lost weight) a month long depression (to be fair, I'm usually depressed in december, it just made it worse) and right now I am having major moodswings (which are probably induced by Japan trip related stress but the pill makes it worse).
And it has more intimate side effects as well.
Either way it's your choice but doctors and many other women usually downplay or never talk about the side effects so here you have some.
That being said, it's really practical in many ways.

I will be going in Japan on a Working Holiday Visa so it'll be everything at once. I'm staying there for a year, I should be able to do a lot

I haven't noticed too much between seasons. I find myself getting really stressed throughout the semester which means I don't usually get mine throughout autumn or spring.

I've never heard of those side effects before :s Usually a lot of women will say,' it's made my acne better,' and that's about it. I haven't really felt the real need to take the pill. I'm that person that doesn't take medicine for ailments.

You can get to Germany in an hr! Damn! In an hr I can get to uni ^^;

Japan sounds fun although I don't know if I'd like to live there. In which region are you working?

Many women around me say it made them gain weight too.
As I said, I didn't see any point in taking the pill in my 25 years of life, until 3 months ago when I got myself a boyfriend.

I'm multilingual but I'm awful at German. I can understand just fine but have so much troubles to make proper sentences. My English is a lot better.

As for Japan, I'm not sure either, so I'm going to find out. I know I am arriving in Tokyo and I also know I want to stay there for the whole year so we'll see.

Oh, I've also heard that some people's breasts grow larger although it's probably uncommon. (I could use that haha)
