Okay, then this thread is not locked I misspoke. If it was locked it couldn't be a charity, this isn't an information thread, it's a participation thread. It is however, a stickied thread. So it will always be at the top of the forum.
You were talking about a locked one in the newbie forum...
Most newbies check the charity forum right after joining anyway, and people who frequent/moderate this thread should keep an eye on the newbie forum and welcome them over in person.
