How was "The importance of being Ernest"? I still want to read it.

Well, don't let my opinion influence your decision though, I've read a few reviews and apparently some readers were really into it and loved it.
For me the progress was too slow, too detailed, boring. Might be true that it gets interesting later, but it did not catch me from the start.

Yeah, I need a lot of breaks from it! I really should just stop reading it. It's not bad, I'm just not getting into it at all.

Not that I was asked, but I love The Importance of Being Earnest XD I love Wilde plays in general, but that's one of his best IMO.

I'm working through Killing Commendatore and it's not so bad so far. I'm also reading a slushy gay romance by Anyta Sunday on my phone which is very different indeed XD

I'm also re-reading The Fairy Tales of Oscar Wilde right now, which I love!

I like his stuff because it is witty and insightful and even when it is cynical it's still funny.

Also, the importance of being Earnest would make a pretty good musical., don't you think?

yep, top quality humor

probably. I quite like the lyrics in the "Wicked" musical, if it was something like that, I think I'd match Wilde's text
