Yeah, that's true, it takes awhile to be a proffesional, I don't think I could do it... I'd feel really bad if I made a glitch, or screwed up something! All I have is a basic web design certificate from our school, and a Microsoft XP certificate... which I guess is good for jobs and such, but for a site this advance, I viewed the code thingy once, I was like x.X whoa!

How did you and Starkad meet, Firn?

I may not know the specific language that starkad uses, but by looking at the page I can tell how he did things. When I was learning vb.net I taught myself how to make a pet like the knuffels and it actually worked. I also know how he made it so food points are added to each persons account after posting things... I could also figure out how to make it so points get added after taking a poll. If I looked at the coding I could understand it. I'm just rambling now.

There was a website though that showed me what it would take to be a programmer. All you need is like a 2-year degree if that. Basically you just have to prove that you know how to do it.

He uses hypertext preprocessor... or PHP... it's similar to most programming languages including Javascript, except it's a server side program...

I figured he used php. I looked at the source code of the page and figured it was php and/or javascript. I don't know much about php, but I think I'm gonna start learning it when I get home tonight. XD

Chocolate:
We user € = Euro here.
I am not sure yet. I think something like $2 or $2.5 .
Paypal distracts some part of the money as fees, so it's not worth to ask for less. People would rather donate to Paypal than to us if it was less.

I hardly have enough money to live, I couldn't pay for a professional anyway.

If you feel like helping out you'd have to contact starkad. I can't decide such things. He is the one who can judge whether you can be of any help to him or not or tell whether he even wants help.

Mouse: Tell me about it... :qstr:
You know, I REALLY messed up the admin panel. It's not just that I changed some settings that can be changed back. Starkad says he doesn't know how I managed to but it's broken. He was not able to fix it yet. :qsob:

I had a computer course as well, I had an A. And I learned nothing. :qstr:

Most computer classes I have taken, I usually get a B or something but I'm the only one who learns anything. Usually I skip ahead and forget to do the actual assignments. :qd:

@Firn --- It's ok, I mean it happens, I've done that once before, and it wasn't even for a real site, it was for a website I was creating when I got ticked off for awhile and just sat at mah computer creating the site

@Chocolate --- ditto, I ended up learning Javascript at the end of the web design class because I completed it earlier
btw, it's going to be easy if you know javascript or another language, I haven't mastered either, or really learned anything but I plan on it once I get a laptop!

Ooh, those wing items look awesome, Firn! ^__^ Is there going to be a special donation shop of sorts for it?

No, they are 9 separate items, but you'll only be able to buy them as a set.

((Sorry for quoting this from so far back)) Ooh, well it's still nice to have the option of buying it at a set price, rather than a super inflated one *CoughsGaiamarketplacecoughcough* :qt:
