just finished my collection of the winter 18 items..

new years food has already started its cleanse x-x food tastes good but i run to the bathroom enough as it is ugh..

Ooooh, okay! Fun brainstorming time. Right, I have no idea what your actual setup is yet, of course, so some of these may be worse than useless, but...

*missing fairy godmother, or stolen fairy godmother's wand causing havoc, call goes out to all the godchildren to help*

*accident/injury/foul play causes a character in a central role of one of the stories to die early, the role is left open and the imbalance of the story going awry begins to pull off everyone else's lives, people start breaking free of their original roles*

*The wolf-catchers' guild begins to notice more and more wolves -and weirder ones! Where are they all coming from? There's a rumor that someone is out there cursing people, and that some of these wolves weren't really wolves at all*

*what happens when fairy-godmother-like-powers begin to develop in someone who traditionally takes a villain's role?*

*have you noticed in fairy tales the heroes are always young? A girl (red riding hood) can be 'good', and have adventures -but then she gets married. Mothers usually die, or become evil stepmothers, and if they live long enough they become evil crone/witches. What horrible spell or force makes them become evil as they age? Can it be counter-acted? What if a distraught new mother comes crying to the guild because although she longed for a child now she has one she has these terrible urges to lock it up in a tower or cage?*

*where do all the towers come from, that women are always being locked up in? What happens when a strange boulder shows up one day outside of town -and then another. And then another, and then there's a pile....*

*Red Riding Hood gets asked to mentor the first troll Wolf Hunter Guild member (probationary) and it become a buddy-cop adventure story, fairy-tale version*

*the Wise Animal (unusual animals that if you aid them, will talk to heroes and give them clues/riddles/hints/help) is pretty common in fairy tales -but what happens when an old ally suddenly stops talking, and becomes animal-like? How is it happening and can it be reversed before they die of old age, as their more mundane animal counterparts?*

*The fae realm is tired of having human disasters blamed on ill-wishing faeries, and demands the humans discover and deal with the human sorcerer who is really causing the troubles, or they will go to war*

*Red Riding Hood is accused of being a witch and they threaten to burn her at the stake. Who is behind the accusation? Can Ebony clear her name in time?*

*When a kingdom's prince is enchanted/encorcelled, it's well known eventually he will be rescued (presumably by a princess) and things will someday become righted. But when it takes too long, political factions start maneuvering for power, and chaos threatens. If decades pass and the old sovereign dies, a regent must be appointed. What happens if the regent is a fantastic ruler and the encorcelled prince is a petty, short-sighted power-hungry fool that no one wants to see rescued? What happens when the Guild is approached to become secret agents for the Kingdom, and their duty is to see to it that no one rescues him until certain conditions are met? (ie unless/until the regency becomes so corrupt that any change is an improvement)... but then what happens when centuries pass. What happens when the regent marries a princess from a neighboring kingdom, and becomes a legitimate line of rulers, when another younger son or two are enchanted and also given to the guild to guard (because an enchanted prince rescued always becomes the new ruler, and who wants the civil war that would follow as the older son contested that usurpation?), when so many generations pass that the Crown forgets what it has asked the Guild to do, and when the Guild grows complacent and careless, and a new young member accidentally turns ALL of the princes back to human form at once?*




Yeah okay I'm having way too much fun here, let me post these for now and get feedback from you and then I'll have fun again posting more.

Tripped out so hard on suspected fever this morning that I sat on the toilet and cut my hair without a mirror.

well that's an adventure. How'd it turn out? Need to visit a salon at some point or is it fixable?

Ooo! Those are some really good ideas! I wonder if I can use more than one in a story? I'll have to try it.
