Yeah. I don't mind writing with one hand either, but if you're having a dog sleep on your arms, you kinda need your elbow too, so limiting your options with that remaining hand. Hence no capitals or much correcting...

I don't like typing with one hand. I can manage, but only very slowly, and my spelling and grammar are a toss up.

@ Vineda - A bit of both? I'd like to own all of them one day, but I'm going after the oldest ones that I like best.

I don't have a dog and the dog that visits sometimes isn't small enough to sleep on a lap

my left hand types slowly so I don't use it while typing. I barely use it at all

I'm using a tablet so I chicken peck the keyboard on the screen. So I'm technically typing with one hand.

Red: Any dog is small enough to sleep on your lap, as long as you're sitting on a very large couch... Though that can make a funny picture, but yeah, my dog is small, not chihuahuasmall, but small enough. She weighs in at just one kilo above my newborn nephew's weight.

DC: I like typing with one hand on a screen since it's mostly close together. but on an average keyboard everything is quite far apart and I type really quickly when I have both hands at my disposal, so whenever I need to tap in the keys onehandedly I feel like it's FAR too slow and WAY too far apart...
But I guess it's just a question of what you're used to...

I'm not on a regular computer too often. Otherwise yes I prefer to type with both hands.

I don't have a tablet and I needed a laptop for studies, so yeah. I'm never on a tablet (don't even own a smartphone anymore) and am only ever on a laptop or a desktop computer... So typing onehandedly is quite a bit slower for me than usual.
Eh. At least the dog only occassionally claims my arm as a resting spot. Usually a lap is quite enough for her.

lol Dogs are something. I have cats.

I used to have both a dog and cat, but the cat died from cancer... So now it's only dogs left. When the old dog died, my parents who are more dog people decided no animals, but eventually caved and got another dog.

Sad really, cause I loved that cat to bits as well... I'm glad my new dog is a bit 'catty' in his habits.

Yeah our dog had to be put down because she had a cancerous tumor.
We weren't expecting Thor, he was a runt from a feral family but he was so sweet and he still is. He's bigger now. He's a hippy cat, really laid back.
