Death Candy wrote:@Akili: lol Okay I'll wait to show you the story. Though I have already been working on chapter 2. I started it before the first chapter until I could figure out how to begin my first. I have to fix up chapter 2 because, other than spelling mistakes and redundant lines, it's a mess. I'm hoping either by the third chapter or fourth I'll finally have the flow and it will become more interesting.
I will wait with what patience I can muster!

We order spring water and they deliver them in milk crates. ovo we get to keeps them so i made shelves >W>

They're pretty sturdy as long as mom doesn't bump into them and the cats don't climb them -x- tried to make a barricade out of them once, sat my water bottle on top of if when i went to the bathroom.. Hiro climbed the crates wanting over, pulled the crates down, and broke my water bottle QnQ

Sounds like your cats really want a kitty jungle gym.

(Twelve blocks with groceries at minus 30?! Tam, you are now my hero.)

I cheated and rode the bus all the way home, though. Couldn't get the cart onto the bus, and the driver had to help (I have a two wheeled cart).

thank goodness for public transport! That would be a long, cold walk.

I have a fear of riding buses. So I just walk.

I remember walking two miles both ways, to a store before. In like 90F. Though I think it was higher due to humidity.

Ugh. I hope I never have to do it again. But it was diapers for my daughter back when she was a baby, so it was important. I think I was also getting a pantry at a church.

That sounds grueling with the humidity. I routinely walk longer in higher temps here, but we're a dry heat and it is NOT the same... humidity will get you every time.
