I think it is referring to just Korean pop though.
Like I have heard of J rock, (not K rock yet) But then I haven't listened to any Korean rock so I wouldn't have a clue!

Yes! So the only time you hear him speak is through the narration.

And it is! Like I said, a lot of people just use it as an umbrella term for all korean music.
At least ... a lot of people I've met. xD

My tastes for Korean music vary .. I listen to whatever sounds good,
and sometimes that's pop, rap, rock, indie, etc. o:
... Of course, that's how I am with American music too. xD

      I hear the terms a lot.

      But I've never really known what they meant; never been able to listen to a piece of music and say, "this is such-and-such a genre".

      Except most classical music is pretty obviously classical, I guess. So that one I know.

      I don't identify with any genres because I would listen to pretty much anything.

      The way I categorize rock and pop... when I hear a clean sound of guitar and bass, I just assume it's rock :u
