Haha, I can see how that's frustrating XD I wonder what's their secret XD

I'm not even sure how editing works, I'm guessing people have some tools on their pc's o3o"

There are apps for if you shoot it on your phone too. But yeah mostly computer programs lol. J does all the editing for our food blog, I got bored with trying to figure it out veeery quickly.

Sony Vegas is a staple on PC, but the native Mac video editing program is pretty equal to it, I hear! I have Vegas simply because you never know when you'll need to edit some clips together. I know a lot of youtube resources are available, like Vegas templates that you can import and edit to suit your own intro, or whatever, and that's pretty cool and professional looking!
I like editing that uses cuts to tidy up clips and things, and I love when vlogs use time-lapse or montages as intros or a change of pace between clips.

Haha, Jacob, you've kind of nailed the popular perspective on livestreaming! People always think how easy gaming livestreams are - you just sit there and play games! But it's exhausting to essentially be a show presenter for 6 or 7 hours a day, with no ability to edit out mistakes or redo delivery or anything. Lots of streamers don't allow themselves to take breaks in that workday period, which is plain unhealthy, and others do 'marathons' of doing this work for 24hrs, to generate publicity. Some people get followed on talent alone, for example speedrunners, but others need to make sure their personaltiy is appealing as well as their interaction with the viewers. It's harder than it looks, and there's a lot of behind the scenes that goes into it - if you use an overlay, if you use transition scenes, if you have alerts for new followers, if you show messages on screen... etc. My boyfriend has a whole switchboard of videos and animations that he plays on his stream as reactionary clips!
Also in the gaming world, it is hard to gain traction when there is contention between Twitch, Mixer, and Youtube Gaming - large portions of viewers that you can't access, unless you set up some multi-streaming programs that require a lot of set-up.
Most famous game streamers have either had a youtube following for years, so when they started livestreaming they already had a loyal audience to build up from, or they merely put in hours of work and grind to get their audiences. I know a guy who streamed everyday for 5 years, even on the days his kids were born. It's mad!

I'm stop talking now xD this is one of the subjects I could go on too much about, haha.

It's not even just livestreaming, but stuff like Instagram too. I spend over an hour a day on Instagram not including taking the actual photos as it is and I don't even have a big fanbase XD have to wonder how much time other people spend. I see so many girls on Insta who have like 45k followers because they are pretty and know how to take selfies in natural light *facepalm*

I mean, it's still gotta be easier than it looks. They have to dress up nice, film makeup tutorials or clothing stuff, and take photos for hours to get a good shot, especially if they have the pressure of paid promos that have certain requirements of them :mcsquee:

I have no issue with ladies flashing cleave if they are okay with getting followers that only care about that. You do you, bb!
Even if I wouldn't do it, I think they still have the right to act as they wish >__>

I don't mean they shouldn't, if they want to, no problem. But the saddest thing is when people think they are popular for their talent, or any other stuf while they get all the likes for their body parts...
And I feel sorry for parents of such girls :mcheh: Because a lot of that is teens, at least I think so, I don't even have any accounts on social media besides Facebook, and I'd gladly get rid of that one as well XD
