Cool, thanks~ Two of those I included partly because they were also mentioned on the first test, but the last two I didn't have on it. I'm not sure if the test is really working right the way it's set up. It's not on a point system, you can only get three results, sue, part sue or not sue...

Anyway, here's what I got so far.

This test seems a little limited to me...

Er, even so, I seemed to do well:

"My Result: Not A Stu/Sue
Congrats. Your OC looks clear of Sue/Stu syndrome. Keep your OC happy and healthy~ "

I meant to make it kind of limited. After it deleted my first quiz I was kind of tired to make a second one, but I tried. It's a work in progress, but I'm not trying to tell everyone their character is a Sue, because OMG they have skills or something unique about them that makes the whole plot worth writing/reading...

It seems like if I get too indepth into a person's psyche about how they relate to their character and bring down the hammer on their head for it, it's just being a jerk about how people relate to their own character. That shouldn't really matter when it comes to the story though, only if it shows up in the writing and that has more to do with the writing itself...

Since that's the new questions, it would be interesting to see what people say and edit the quiz more extensively that way.

To get a Sue in my test, they have to be really really bad. I think it's possible though. I ran Morris through it but he only got "Part Sue" Perhaps I was a little too easy if it's impossible to get Sue.

@Webkinz: It's an apartment, so I don't want to leave stuff unsupervised. XD

I was watching Glee <--guilty pleasure. Sometimes I want to slug him, but Kurt's adorable in this week's episode. I like him the way I would a younger brother, I suppose. I also like Sam. >>b And sorta on the side as an amusement, Puck.

Huh, it is hard to get a Sue. I tried the test again with a character I had in early college, and still got "Not A Stu/Sue." He was a frickin' god. XD

...I hate it when my signature looks wider than my posts...
...so I'm making these posting formats to compensate the size...
...yeah...
...I do...

.. . I've done this test. And got a non-sue too. But I'm not quite satisfied... We must stop thinking of a sue as of something negative. Otherwize everyone will be creating tests to fit their own "unique" characters. I'm not speaking of test you made, Nuke, I'm just commenting upon the ide to make your own tests. it's not that I am against... I only guess that it would be useful to take several different tests from several different creators and compare.
.. . To be honest I like the test we were all discssing here. I like that it is devided into several parts according to the character purpose. I firmly believe that if you use you OC for rps, fanfics and original fics, you must do the test three times. And it's great that you can do the general part + the fanfic part, then remove your markings fron the fanfic part and do the rp part so you will count everything individually according to purpose your OC is currently serving. If my memory serves me right, you, Web, told us that you got a sue because you used your OC in all three categories?
So my point is, this test with all it's questions is not for scolding us for making such characters. It is to make us look at them realistic. You know, it's really easy to make a character with supernatural powers and create an interesting story aroung the but try to make an ordinary character and make his story be interesting - this requires much more effort. While answering these questions you have to analyze your OC keeping the distance. And you are forsed to think whether this or that ability/trait of character/beckground detail is so necessary to make your character exiting. For example I truly put down some of the points about Jasem and spent some time thinking whether she can remain the same character without them. And it did help me to balance her and make more relistic even though she's a werewolf and has a "dramatic" life and so on. So I'm for taking as many tests as possible because they touch upon different aspects and really help.
But I'm against being like "oh no, my character got a 70% sue, I must quicky do something because my character is so cool/hot and unique and fantastic, he can't be a sue!!!" This is where the real sueness lies. IMHO. Your character can never be loved by everyone and be intereting to everyone unless you've written so in your story. And they can't be hated by everyone too. It's the same.
The very idea of Sue is that she's fantastic, she's young but can do everything and save the world and people just adore her, men want to sleep with her, women want their men to sleep with her, she's a genious of martial arts and music and chemistry and what not and, moreover, she's got magic powers and she's just the chosen one! You know it's easy to write about the chosen one. Really easy. Especially if they are as awesome as Mary Sue.
We must really be aware that though we put the right ammount of "uniquness" in our characters many people may say "I've already seen this sue in another story..." because they really think it's a sue. Not because they've tested your character on purpose, but because they see this and feel this.
No test can give you even nearly such a score that you get from another persom looking at your OC without the prejudice that they are awesome. You won't tell a person "hi! this is Kimberly. note that she is unique, she is not a sue at all. she got 89% in the sue test, but then we took another test and it scored only 1%. and we think that the second test is more accurate even though it had three questins while the first one had 300. anyway, now you know that she is unique and can read her character sheet", right?

.. . As for your test, Nuke, it seems like comments are welcome. Some questions lack the "I don't know" option. XD Or better - "I didn't pay attention, I know it's my fault" lol
Seriously, I think the more questions covering different acpects the better. If you don't want people to be afraid of high scores you may want to make the questions or the results sound like a joke. Or maybe it's reasonable to make the results comparative by putting some well-known characters there. For example "your OC got 55 points. fiction characters with aproximately the same score: Harry Potter (50), Edward Cullen (59) etc." I didn't test these two, just an illustration of my idea. Maybe this way the test will seem more friendly for some people (wow, my Kimberly is not the only sue in the world!) and more serious for others. Not everyone wants to be so close to Edward as Bella... XD
