What? I'm responding to our hangout? It must be an event.

My knuffel are so neglected.

Doesn't matter. Must water plants.

I really need some water, because fertilizer just doesn't work for that.

Tell me about your Camp NaNoWriMo plans. Except, don't actually tell me anything, because then you won't write the story.

I'm gonna finish the thing and then start the other thing using short character study-type things. Vague enough?

Mmm. Much vague. Are both of those things happening sequentially during April, or what?

I'm thinking I might do some personal writing challenge, just for funzies. Like, "I'll write a hundred words more than Mara wrote the previous day" sort of challenge.

Why not just do the NaNo thing, then?

Sequentially in that I cannot write them at the same exact time. Perhaps not strictly separately.

It's too late to sign up for NaNo Camp now, right? You said they had already done a thing. Plus, if I'm just competing against you, I don't have to feel bad if I fall behind. I'm not sure how into this I'm going to get.

I don't like writing character studies. They demand that your characters have personalities.

If you don't want to be in a cabin it doesn't matter when you start. You could set a really, really low goal?

Fanfiction provides ready-made personalities through canon and fan-generated content.

Wait, they let you not be in a cabin? I thought it was mandatory.

Why write character studies about existing characters? What does it gain for you? Is is just practice?

Yeah, I thought I told you. Optional socialization.

I know the characters, but not how to write them and not how they interact with the new setting.
