✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Something glitters in the darkness ... it ... it is ... The glittery crumpet – me :D :D*:・゚✧*:・゚✧

Apologies for not posting!

It is winter right now where I am ><
And I really dislike the cold, but so far where I am it hasn't been too cold.
I do wish it would snow where I am, but then snow needs cold, and that is something I dont need!

@Moi: I KNOW! and I had some cute outfits too... :(

@Eva: I know they are interconnected, but I don't think one necessarily ='s the other. Especially with projections. It can be way off or spot on.

@rebecca: OH MY GOODNESS! Shining sparkling SPLENDID! The glittery crumpet <3

*hugs and squish* how is the most glittery crumpet of all? <3

They make the predictions they do because the evidence they have correlations to a historical pattern. So in the past, late summers that were super hot, led to really bad winters. Yes, it may not be that way because of other factors but that's why it's a guestimate. And as far as weather and crops go? It's always better to prepare for the worst. Pretty sure that's why they call it the "farmer's almanac".

I am good thank you! Getting really busy because I am back at uni and it just has been a rush of work to do.
Yourself?

I find predicting the weather truly fascinating, some apps I have come across predicts what the weather may be in a months time!
And when the date came it was similar to what it predicted. Of course as the date got closer more accurate predictions were set.

I mostly have black clothes, which people tell me trap in heat 8,u

I didn't even need a jacket last year.

If I remember correctly... Moi lives in Texas, right? :o I hear the summer is awful there, but winter isn't?

I live in northwest texas, and we get both. We're on what they call the high plains even though it's a basin. So triple digit heat and snow and sleet.

I'm in the hill country, central texas... <3
It is lovely, except we have a lot of issues with allergens.

@rebecca: all the work... so much work ;3;

@eva: I actually found a place that sold old farmer's almanac's going back REALLY far.. like 1800's or something. They'd kept records on this. I don't remember where this was, but I was a unique kid and found this stuff interesting. :)
