No idea why I drink it, I just do. I don't know. But just a cold or something.
How's school going?

it's a healthy drink, at any rate, even for when you're not sick

it's nice that you happen to enjoy it.
how is your cold?
things are yet to go full swing, because it's still the first week of school. i do wish this pace would stay!
i've been reading fiction for fun again and i don't want school to swoop in and ruin that for me
how is work?

I just have a cough that will longer for a month, tis the season for it.
I've started to read for fun again too. I want to read a book a month, so I'm trying.
I remember the slow starts, they were nice.
Work is getting there, my kids are calming down from the holidays, but I have parent teacher conferences in 2 weeks

i hate hate hate seasonal colds! i know a cold is technically supposed to be a minor illness, but it throws everything for a toss with me personally. i have to function normally with it but it's hard. kind of like periods. although people in general shouldn't expect anybody to function normally on their period.
a book a month is the perfect goal! my goal is 30 books this year, so that'll be 2-3 books a month. i'm trying to take advantage of my college's library, although many of their fiction titles aren't ones i'd be interested in reading.
yeah, they are! wish they lasted all semester!
oh, good luck for those! how are parent teacher conferences? depends on the parents i suppose, when my mom taught birefly she had problem parents, like those that wouldn't face that their child had challenges or problems and insisted that everything was perfect, or those that expected the teacher to hone their child into a genius single-handedly while not even helping their own child with homework at home.

oh dear, that's so catching! especially in a classroom packed with kids who won't keep a distance from each other in the first place.

We made it through. Only 5 confirmed cases of flu and one for strep throat. But everyone is finally back and healthier

oh that's a relief.
i heard there was a flu outbreak in the US and some people even died. and then there's the coronavirus. it's worrying how NEW viruses are cropping up that are life-threatening.

Someone here did after complications from flu. The medication they gave him interacted badly with his asthma. It is scary...

oh god that's horrible. don't they look at a patient's medical history including chronic problems they have, before they give them meds? like they're supposed to take ALL the patient's health issues into account before prescribing something. i'm sure something like this could have been prevented.
