It's almost as if the books have no relation to the movie at all.

oh damn almost clicked "trade" again.
wenever you get an not announced trade from me- please feel free to cancel,i might forget it,since it was a mistake and i was tired XDDD

RIGHT RIGHT?!
like i said, the same with RING.
the important informations didnt show up anyway, without those and sadakos childhood history you know a crap about this!
its absolutly like:
Book: Oh i see! thats it.it makes sense, poor sadako,i understand her..
Film: the f**k? Whats this? häh= how did this? hello?! TRANLATION PLEASE!

actually i am strange when it comes to movies or books.
The things i am interisted in are different each time.Depending on Mood..i also take a sneak peek if possible to get to knnow the characters, the way of writing, thats important for me.

like for a song its not about "just how it sounds" its about "how are the beats, does this genre feel good at my current mood, how about the singer, how does his voice sound, does his voice match the tones, the melodie, dies it match the lyrics?" i am too cimplicated but my ears are working very well and most male voices, since a few years sound more like a piglet that gets castrated while we listen to it..it actually hurts my ears real bad XD

there are some books i think "ok they're written really good" if i can get a flow of it after 1-2 chapters i will definally buy it.
If not, then i think about it again, read the backside again, search a random page and read this,to see how it feels then.

One book i LOVED! i really must say LOVED and still do..should read it again..
was let me see if i find an english title..
German is "Das Alptraumreich des Edward Moon"..so something like "Edward Moon's nightmare" maybe? from jonathan barnes.
oh god its really good.
The maincharacter is everything but NOT flawless, he is strange, with some nasty interest, but you MUST LOVE HIM! no matter what you cant hate him or anything else.I simply wasnt able to..and i am really sceptic XD
some characters are hateful though but others are just lovely in their own strange way..
ah The Somnambulist is what its called XDD
sounds strange at first but it was great.

I have two more books i would always recomment to people..
but to those 3 ,luckily! they arent any films as far as i know!
so i can still love them to the fullset XD

I do the same thing, started reading some new authors lately and I had to read random pages a few times to see if I would like them. Some I put down immediately because the dialogue sounded awful.

I'm very picky with books, mostly just read dead authors from hundreds of years ago :qoops: though lately I got into a few authors who are writing now, but in a more old-fashioned style that I like.

there is nothing wrong with that.
i love these two books..please let me check the original titles..
At the sign of the sugard plum and the second part
Petals in the Ashes from Mary Hooper.
Oh gosh i love them!
its about a certain girl and her life in england at the time the pest was going around ,second of the big fire in london..
Really those books left a great impression on me.Even NOW sometimes when i think about those two books,i have some scenes in front of my inner eyes.
Like i would have actually seen that. Its so great how its written.

I just remember..
There was one book once..
The back sounded good and the first chapter,i mean they're always kinda boring, but it ws really cheap so i thought "hn ok,lets try" and for 2 sites i actually only read about the different signs on the highway while the maincharacter drives her car.
I thought "THE HELL?! I SPENT MONEY ON THIS?! and threw it against the wall XDD an absolutly nightmare of boring informations no one wants to know XD

I had first read hobbit in elementary school during a book exchange period. I basically had to sum it up in front of the whole class haha.

my brother forced me to read it out loud to him at a young age. Keep in mind we have a 8 year age gap between us.

So it put me off those books for ages.
