:X Ooh. Oh, Moi. My brother was about to run over a pigeon for my birthday. XD;;

*in the parking lot*
Me: There's a pigeon, kill it for my birthday!
Second brother: Okay P'Mikael. :D *swerves around to hit bird*
Me: OAO No, I'm kidding! DX

(P in Thai signifies someone slightly older... we have prefixes instead of the Japanese suffixes.)

Nah, I was joking! I would never hurt a pigeon! I like the Goodfeathers. <--Animaniacs

P'Name = Slightly older person
Nong'Name = Younger person
Na'Name = Someone younger than parents (usually aunt/uncle or friends of parents)
Ba'Name/Loohng'Name = Someone older than Mom (usually aunt/uncle or friends of parents)
Ah = Someone older = Someone older than Dad (usually aunt/uncle or friends of parents)
Khung'Name = polite way of calling someone (like Mr./Miss)

It's usually respectful to have some sort of title in the name in Thai, though it can be affectionate too. I call many of my Thai friends Nong, but they rarely give me a title because everyone's Americanized. XD

Hmmm...

Sounds rather complicated >>

Not really. It's like learning "-chan" "-kun" and so forth.

But there seems to be more D:

._. people usually use "-san" for me.
<<; kinda bothers me.

Nah, I think that that's it. Japanese people have more.

You would be Nong Moi, and I'd be P'Mikael. XD
