Yeah, that sounds like one would need to take some alone time x.x
Then again, I think children in general run away when the parents are fighting, it's an instinct. It's not nice, so you close the door and put on your headphones just to not hear them screaming
I usually forget what I'm mad about, like really soon XD
Today I got pissed at Ash, because he wasn't picking up his phone and I had an important question about food, and so I told him off once he called me back x.x And then I tried to stay mad for longer, but we eventually began joking again xD

I actually was a lot better at dealing with it when I was a kid. I think I had a level that I was able to tolerate and one day we just went over that level for good lol.
I used to always forget to be mad with friends after we fell out XD I would go to school the next day and be like "hey, good morning!" and then remember I was pissed at them but it was already too late haha.

Really? You were a tough kiddo then, I always hated it, still can't handle people screaming nearby ;>_>
Lool, yes, that would also happen to me XD I'm also quick at forgiving, so I'd be all like "okay, so we should be fine now after 24 hours right?" and would be all confused and surprised why they were still pissed xD

I think I just assumed it was normal for a long time lol. But there was a kind of funny situation with my best friend when I was young. Between about 7 and 11 or 12 we were very close and I would call to check she was home, then cycle over to her place almost every day during school holidays. Her mother was some kind of amazing saint who never argued with her husband, never shouted at her kids, kept the whole house clean, cooked amazing food that was always suited to the requirements and taste of the guest even if you only just decided to stay for dinner before she started cooking, and was basically the antithesis of my mum XD okay well except the cooking maybe, since she's amazing at that too. Funniest part was my mum used to make fun of her all the time and how saintly she was. Actually with better perspective, I can see she was just an amazing person and my mum was probably jealous

She was pretty great XD Their life was like a postcard. They had stuff like a little shed in the garden which was converted to have comfy seating and glass doors for the summertime. I used to go round there and just be like a fish out of water in all this niceness XD

I'd be too XD Makes me wonder what shady family secrets they had

I genuinely don't think there were any XD her dad was a policeman who was known in the local community for being fair and upright, and her older brother went to uni to graduate with a degree in something impressive, though I don't remember what now. And I think she got a degree in marketing. Not a single piece of shade visible on any of them XD

Haha XD
This is funny: I just saw you talking on another thread where I didn't glance at the usernames, but I saw the avatar out of the corner of my eye and thought, "that's probably mem". Came back here and yep, same avatar XD I guess you have kind of a look that is identifiable.
