Grats on no more fly, and ewwwwwwwwwww. Yes, it was hot here today, and I was stupid enough to walk about a mile in it. And wound up bringing home a THIRD Fashionista barbie doll. *headdesk* My reputation of anti-barbie woman is ruined.

My poor dad has to sleep in the dinning room because his room is way too hot even with the fans. But he doesn't have air conditioning. My daughter and I have a window ac so we'll be alright and my mom's bedroom is part of the living room so she's fine because of the downstairs ac. We even have an Excessive Heat Warning.

Nope. Other than right now money is tight, the last window unit caused a power outage and it was fried. Well it was old anyways. But again, money is tight.

I used to spend hours on doll dressup sites too. And I have a really big collection of the old KiSS sets that you had to download and use a player for. I also like magnet dolls, though the store bought ones I have aren't as interesting as that Rapunzel I want to get printed. And I am collecting a wardrobe for my lone LOL Surprise doll.

I have the Fashionista in the denim dress and clear shoes, with the undercut pink hair, the one who looks like she's African American with albinism, and the newest is the really dark skinned one with purple hair. I've named 'em Laura, Bea, and Rose, because of elements of their clothing. LOL

Some of the Fashionistas do have cool and colorful outfits! There was one that was cat themed. I think it was an Asian woman one if I remember right. I often name things based on color.

Yeah. LOL dolls AND the outfits you can buy are all sold blind bagged. And the outfits are in this gross gel stuff that serves no purpose.

LOL Well, I couldn't name the purple haired doll Violet. I already have a black doll with purple hair who's been given that name. She's a Crayola fairy with that as her colour. I can't remember the cat theme Fashionista right now. But I'm up past my bed time, and was sort of wiped out today to start with.

Today I found out about a new kind of doll that's just coming out. It's by the same company that makes Shopkins. The dolls are called Capsule Chicks (Chix?), and the theme is to build your own doll. Nice idea, but I don't really like how the dolls look, or how they're packaged.

With my luck I'd buy four outfits and end up with three multiples. Wait so are the clothes in a plastic bag with the slime around it? I believe that slime was really popular awhile back or still is. I've heard about it and seen it around a lot. Man, you're making me want to buy a LOL doll now!

I used to think Shopkins were pretty cute. Especially the food ones... maybe I just have an unnatural love for food. I looked the Chix up. I see what you mean, the idea is cute but there's something a lil off about them, maybe it's the faces or something I'm not sure... some of them are okay though.

LOL I never could get into Shopkins, even though I have the mini version of the Sarah Sushi Shoppy. But my desire for a sushi doll was greater than my aversion to Shoppy faces. And yeah, the big heads and the faces look weird on the Chix for me. I think I'm skipping them unless I wind up with a second hand one in good shape. The dolls I want to find and get ONE of are the Hatchimal Fairies.

Speaking of which, and speaking of the Chix and many other modern dolls, have you noticed that we're going back to the days of dolls with molded on clothes, and a lot of those dolls aren't even able to be posed?

We try and make him sleep in the dining room. That's the only place with chairs, well besides the living room, but it only has one; the computer desk chair.

I like the Disney dolls because they either look like the character or as close as they could get for mass production. I want a Captain Hook doll. Not one of those cheap ones where he's missing pieces. I love Hook, he was always one of my favorite villains. My favorites are Hook, Hades, Yzma, Ursula and Maleficent. Order does not matter. lol I also want the Disney Designer Fairytale Robin Hood Maid Marian Limited Edition Dolls

I'm trying to avoid my Disney sketches, because I'll end up stuck on those and then I get bored and I feel like everything sucks. And then not only do I suffer, but my work does too. I loose the desire and motivation. I had to hide my sketches just so I can move on.

I have a redo of Lola Bunny and I did one of my daughter's fantasy creatures!
