@Tarra-I was reading Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews. It was pretty good! It's the first book in a series. I'm thinking about getting the 2nd one to read this weekend.
It's cold and wet today. The forcasters were calling for freezing rain this morning but, it was just rain. May have a mix of snow/sleet/rain later tonight.

Yuck! Freezing rain is the worst, though can look awesome all over trees and stuff.

@Meags-What genre is it? I don't read much anymore but I love horror and sci/fi and actually mostly YA, even at my age!
It's a mini blizzard right now, we're getting lake effect and it's been coming down for a few hours. My poor (future) father-in-law is a plow truck driver and I'm afraid tonight's going to be a little rough for him. I've seen him do 36hr+ stretches at a time!
