We have plenty of cupbowls, no need for another one, really
The rest was kinda meh

And compared to when everyone would get 20+ things each, excluding what we got each other, it's small

My first thought was "How many people do you need to get 20+gifts." Then a thought hit me. The answer is 1 very generous person. :}

Well at least you got more than one item. Mine's basically "a choose your own gift", gift. But then again, other than for the kids we don't celebrate Christmas that much.

I got 6 presents this year. And I'm happy with all of them. :}

Part of it is that kid versus adult
That and grandma died and she was gone of the biggest givers

Nah, I always give kids maybe 2 presents but I have no problem to give an adult 3-5 presents.
Yeah, if the biggest gifter is lost you'll end up with less gifts. :}
