We've had some young guy come to the door two days in a row trying to get us to upgrade or change out current security system. We don't use the one we have because it's got a motion sensor that picks up movement in the hall so when we got a cat, we had to disable it whenever we were gone, otherwise she would set it off. Mom told him off yesterday and he came back today...dad answered the door and told him to install the new system. x.x They had to invade my closet where half the current system was and my closet is a wreck. I'm also very uncomfortable with how this system is supposed to be set up because if the alarm goes off, there's apparently someone who talks through the system asking if it's a false alarm or not so now I'm going to be paranoid people are listening in on our house conversations. They also said we'd have to get rid of our land line phone for it to work which I've never heard of. It all seems iffy to me and they were stressing me out. T.T I doubt we'll even use this system at all either if it still users the motion sensor. There's always someone in the house.

maybe you can look them up or something
because that does seem strange
our alarm when it goes off we get a call
and if no one answers it the operator calls 911
but normally alarms like that you have to push a button to talk

I'm not sure. They kept mentioning Honeywell or something like that. My mom asked her friend from work how she got the system she has because it was the same as the guy who came to the door was talking about and her friend said they also showed up at her door. Who knows... =_=

EDIT: I have extra Lolisweet eyes (indigo) if anyone wants them. I have more items too, but I think it's the only one anyone might have real interesting in anymore since the rest are accessories. XD
@ Doki- Mine make noises that sound like pouts or whining. And if I don't give them what they want they do this sigh like they're pouting. XD They know just what noises to make to sound sad so they get what they want.
I'd stick to the base at first. If you want to make your own you can do so later. ^_^ But it's really up to you!
@ Flower- One was close to 200k and the other was close to 150k. ^_^ They were really on top of it! :o
@ Floofy- yeah you did! :D Yay!
And it did. Even more so today. I'll be unpacking a bit later. I guess they're activating all the military planes equipped with fire-fighting-stuff to combat it more tomorrow. That's pretty exciting.
Also, all that security system nonsense sounds stressful. :( I hope everything is ok!

Well that will be good. I hope they put a good dent in that fire if not extinguish it all together from that tactic.
T^T It is...I feel like I'm being watched all the time now. And I found out it senses when the doors open, too. So if my parents set it at night...my boyfriend can't come by for lunch because I won't be able to open the door without the alarm going off. :T It scared me a bit when it lit up after I opened the door tonight because I thought it was gonna do something.

Aww that's terrible! I'd throw such a big stink about it. But I'm like the princess that rules the house, so I get my way pretty easy about most things. ^^;

I just snagged him. He's so cute, and he ends up looking so cool. I'm glad I got enough from selling my own wild knuffel. I was a little worried she wouldn't pass due to glow, but apparently it wasn't excessive enough to be rejected.
