I get it but I'm crazy so...take my brain's ability to understand that as a little better than the normal person...

I'm terrible at words and explanations =w= but i like writing.. its calming.

I'm terrible at grammar and spelling. I make up for it by the way my characters talk, they can't read. I've never had a written on paper character that can read so if they talk like I do I don't have to try harder.

Some of my characters cant read, but that's because they are from the slums and can't afford schooling o3o the lead character will teach them some and then another character will take over later.

Well when you grow up in a lab away from the world you don't know much.

They were taken and bought into the lab. Kidnapping. "promises of cures" for things. People go in but...dead bodies and the ones that escaped only go out.
