ha ha ha, I don't know as the kids register anything besides, "Is it candy? No? Ah, that's sad I wanted candy". But the parents certainly enjoy it.

Yeah, it's hard if you don't have other people around to help encourage this stuff! I could totally have been doing craft things on my own this year but without the company I just wasn't!
And Halloween is the *PERFECT* time for people who can't sew or carve because if it turns out all wonky and lopsided and odd you can just say it was on purpose, because HALLOWEEN!

You are free to steal any or all of these ideas, too, if you want to start doing the same thing.

We can have a chat thread and consult with each other planning our next crafting party and reporting how it went and stuff!

Oh dear heavens I have *yet* to come up with a successful option for providing refreshments/food. The time we tried potluck meant that everyone brought bags of crisps and the crumbs got into the crafting goods and it was just sad. The time I tried to make things ahead all by myself I stayed up the night before and was so tired I didn't get any crafting done. The time we all put in for takeout was okay but too expensive. Half the time I just gave up and said "eat before you come".... there must be a better way.
Maybe I should do one of the crafting events as a joint "let's all build gingerbread houses" option and then we can just eat the failures? But that only solves one....
anyhow brainstorming notions with someone else would honestly be a relief.

Waiiiit, the event is still going? I thought the food bag would be gone when I got back from work. I wanted to get a few more items during my breaks but...I ended up not taking any... XD

I stayed up late to get one of the shirts though I work a long shift today so that may not have been wise. I wish I could sleep all day...

Oh dear, getting less sleep than you want may be thematically scary but I hope nothing happens during your long shift due to your sleep deprivation! May it be an easy shift!

Lol. I slept 8 hours but that doesn't mean I can't want to sleep more. Mostly I just don't want to work my 10hr shift. >.>
