My dad never threw out anything without asking first but back in the the day when my parents were together my mom would without a thought. It's never nice because that random piece of paper with doodles could have been the last thing you got from a friend that moved away or something. Not right.

It's hard to find a good scanner but it's best to go to a place where the employees know what their talking about.

Dad will when he's in a cleaning mode, BUT it's always been stuff mom hadn't even though about for years cuz it'd been languishing in the garage and she hasn't even noticed, and the last garage purge was several years ago
And there's still a lot of crap in there
There might be some stuff of mine in there but we don't think so, we think it's all in the house

Speaking of cleaning I really need to clean my room, which includes clothes inventory reduction and laundry

When I can I'll buy just a flatbed scanner. Nothing special that way when we need to scan we can do it without worrying about using ink.

I have one like that. It really is much better I find. It hooks up to my computer for power so it only has one cord. It's also lighter so I can take it room from room freely. Great when you have a laptop.

Well at the time we needed a copier plus a printer so we got this. But scanning is a no-no.

Well hopefully it works well for such things.

Random piece of paper with doodles? No, with my mother it was my stuffed animals!
Though she did also once throw away a drawing I did that happened to be a school homework assignment when I was in the 4th grade. I had to re-draw it in class.

That's what mine was like. Flatbed, single cord, lightweight. It was an Epson.

How big does it scan?

Yeah.

Kita: Not very big, that's just it. I use standard printing paper, but the images aren't big.

Hmm, that is curious.
Though bigger isn't always better, so perhaps this won't be a flaw for you.
How much of the paper does the scanned image occupy?
If it's ridiculously small, can it be adjusted?
