It still feels like I know everything we revised yesterday, but it's still SO much to know for the exam today..
And on a side note: Who the hell decided to write an exam at 6pm

??
Hey there! I hope your headache is completely gone today ^.^
mem, I am sorry to hear about the rats, but it's no good keeping them in my eyes as they seem to have brought you more trouble than happiness..

jacobgrey wrote::< so naughty ratties. What about getting a large run - I don't know if that word conveys it, so, like a large wire enclosure with an open or closed top depending on what works best - so they can run inside there and feel free, but still be contained safely?
I thought about it, but I'm afraid it won't be any solution. For one, it's just a bigger cage and rats need to run it out all over the place, I'm sure they'd manage to escape anyways. And besides, there's no space in here for such a solution :( It's a really tiny room, and grandma had put too many furniture in here. If grandma was kind enough to keep her own stuff in her own room and give all the space in the drawers to us we wouldn't even need that nightstand under our window. But I can't really do anything about it. She loves to clutter spaces.
So it goes like this: I open the cage and they don't even need my help to get out of it, they just slide down the cage's back and onto the back of our sofa/bed. From the bed they can easily jump to the nightstand and onto the windowsill, where they can joyfully dig plants. So recently I've been moving the nightstand away from the windowsill and from their jumping range. But that's not over. They can also jump from Ash's PC desk to the windowsill, if they put their mind to it, it stands pretty close. And if not that, they just climb up the curtains (so I try to put them on top of the windowsill). If I do, they're gonna try with the desk, and they usually succeed. So maybe I should just get rid of the plants. Even if I do, there's the problem of cables. I could've never predicted one couldn't control rats like I can't. Seriously, Ash's sister has had 2 female rats, they were never down on the floor. Ever. My Tila was also only running on the sofa. So I thought I could manage with these two, I thought I just wouldn't let them off the sofa. I thought people were crazy for letting their rats run like that, but now I start to think it's more like they have no choice...
So, the cables. There's just too many of them and I can't even imagine how to secure them from the rats' teeth and curiosity. I'll try to google it but I really don't suppose it will help with the state of this room. I don't even care that they ruin our clothes/bedsheets/furniture/plants/whatever, I just can't imagine giving away my pets, I never have and I don't want to. They are two little devils, but they're mine
@Julez: B-but... they be my ratties...

I don't want to give them away QnQ

Get rid of granny instead, I found the solution
Okay kidding but it would probably help haha.
Maybe moving the plants will be good? First step anyway.

@jacob: Great, now I need to find some poison and begin offering her a meal every day!

LOL omg, so horrible #badgranddaughter
If I had my own place in building, I'd just want all my cables to be inside the walls and all the other cables like PC and stuff to be secured with some metal pipes or something. Yes, I've been googling it, I even have 2 potential stores where we could find such things
Yeah, except I don't have any space to move them

Every other thing in the room is alrady busy and cluttered with something. (Forgot to mention the plants are half-dead because I was so absorbed with rats I forgot to water them for a while

Trying to revive them tho, I try to remember every other day ;>_>). I think a better solution would be to get rid of the curtains and install rollettes... granny's too attached to old ways, rollettes are so much better than curtains, and rats can't climb them to get to the windowsill

But I don't know if she'd even agree to something like that. Right now I'm focusing on the cables, it's the worst of all, not only damage for us, but also they could hurt themselves.

Listing all the things that are wrong helped me realize the cables are the most important here and that I could live with any other damage but this one
@Nyuu: Now I've got a slight one. But I think it's dehydration maybe. Although I should be hydrated already, hmm...

I have those kind of blinds but the one in our bedroom is a pull gently to get it to go up type...and i think it lost its string so I need to eventually find something for that... cause sometimes it just goes all the way up the top and I can't reach then.
I like to have the blind open just a touch in summer cause it lets the breeze in better. But tbh I'd prefer to keep it down, but eh not as much a breeze then.
