People are just stupid. I have to correct people when it comes to my daughter. She's part Vietnamese, completely different place and language and look. I would rather people just ask if she was Asian and then I can tell them myself.
Since she doesn't go out much, people don't see her so no issues. Besides you don't piss off Grandpa. There's a place in hell for him and it's called the throne, so don't piss him off. lol

If I heard right, the company for Corona beer is shutting down until the pandemic is over because of lousy sales. People are also blaming the beer.

there's too many stories going around about 'how' this virus came to be.

-The one I read about was that a lab bat escaped and bit someone (except apparently the virus can't be transmited from animal to human?)

-Neighbor believes that bats in the wild had it and when the chinese ate them they got it. (that's how aids started! o3o people ate monkeys that were infected!!)

-Lab created and purposefully released on the masses...

-A medical official told me animals couldn't catch it which is why they can't use pigs to help create a vaccine so if this is true, there goes the 2 bat theories.

-It's just a natural mutation, not a lab made mutation, of other corona and sarrs viruses.

And really.. while yes this thing did originate from china.. that doesn't mean it's their fault, especially if it does turn out to be a natural (not man made) mutation. Blaming people isn't going to make it go away, just makes the person doing the blaming look like a discriminating asshole...

Well, there are similarities with Japanese and Chinese writing as Japanese Kanji comes from Chinese scripts. The difference lies in the Kana that Japan also uses (hiragana and katakana) that accompanies the Kanji.


I can read Hiragana and Katakana fine, I know about 4-5 Kanji.. over 100 if you count the numbers 1-99 xD


The only asian person I ever known was Van.. a classmate, the only asian in my school. She was vietnamese. Her folks use to own my favorite Japanese restaurant. >w< I was sooo jelly of her..
