@Nuke: Yeah, still a WIP though; at least until I finish my ch.5 assignments. I'm still on ch.4, but if I have time, I'll finish that tomorrow or tonight.

Yeah, I'm on Gaia too, but I only log in when I crave an RP or have specific business there. I have a decent partner right now though, and I have a full schudule, so I probably won't sign in again for a while.

It does seem to be one of the better places for RP for some reason... I've tried on Solia, but the RPs don't seem to last long there.

Aha, I do one-on-one role-plays, so in a sense it doesn't matter where I go, but all the same, Gaia has the highest number of role-players gathered together that I know of, so I have better luck of finding the right partner there. I'm an incredibly fickle role-player (my standards are through the roof), and even on Gaia, I would be only to find 3/20 people who seem interesting enough to role-play with, and 1/50 who are absolutely amazing. That pretty much means that I can be refreshing my Barton OOC thread all day and find only one person I like. *headfloor*

I did join another site in hopes of having better luck there, but though the members welcomed me very nicely in the beginning, I learned that the forum was actually full of elitists. DX Now, there's one thing with having a stardard, and another with being rude about it. I was a little shocked at first, but I pretty much laughed it off when my friend pointed out that even if they could post many pages worth in one post, their sentence syntax wasn't even correct. *headfloor*

I'm kind of the opposite. I love group RPs and I'll play pretty much any storyline as long as it's interesting. The only thing I can't stand is something that isn't interesting RP wise... I sometime end up with weird people, but I don't mind it if the RP'll live past an hour or two days...

I don't like one on one unless it's co-writing. I thought most 1x1 were love stories anyway.

It's very hard to find a nice/good writing community, even for RPing. People get that way and act like closed communities. There were a few times I was practically chased out of groups like that.

I've done a few groups before in the past, but due to time and post order issues, it's easier to just RP with one person. I've done a few platonic one-on-ones.

Yeah, you're telling me. I wouldn't say that I've never been banned from a group (and I wouldn't say that it wasn't partly because I was wrong, sometimes.) However, I could keep up with that group just fine; I just didn't want to role-play with people who were going to be jerks about it (and people who couldn't even write properly, besides.)

I would humbly take criticism from those who are better than me, but these people didn't even know what they were doing. They just thought that writing big chunks of pointlessness made them badass kings of the mountains.

If I have something to say, I would generally say it. If I can't trust the admins/mods enough to listen, I'd leave. I don't put up with other people's crap. .__.
