Yeah strawberry, chocolate, vanilla 8u
I'd like to try Heavenly Hash u,8
I actually looked for it at the store and they just have the usual flavors Bu

I think all nuts are expensive ._.
Like I LOVE pecans and almonds and it's like $8 for a tiny bag >8u
Yes, FIVE pecans are totally worth almost $10 Bu
Do people risk their lives to get them or what?
I never understood why nuts cost so much xD

I'm assuming that nuts are grown in small yields and that's why. Like, saffron is really expensive, and that's because the plant only yields a small amount of saffron. It takes a lot of work to grow just a little bit of saffron.

The thing is, serial killers are uncommon but rapists are really common. So people do like to cause suffering, but they decide what kind of suffering to cause according to what kind of suffering they can get away with. If they actually enjoy someone else's suffering, they do understand it. Otherwise they wouldn't be interested in it.

Rather than not empathising or their brain not reacting, I think their brain probably doesn't react in the same way (of horror, sadness or sympathy) but there's definitely some part of their brain, some other part, that gets excited. And they seek that stimulation again and again.

Ah, I guess that makes sense 8u
I never knew how nuts are grown so I just assumed you could collect a bunch at a time.
Well, I mean we used to have a pecan tree and we'd take pecans that fell off of it and crack them open and not all of them were good. A lot of them were bad and had to be thrown out so that adds to the price I'm sure 8u

I see what you're saying. And it sucks because they get away with things because people just don't understand.
Like when a woman is assaulted, someone asks "Well, what was she wearing?" which doesn't matter - you don't commit a crime >__>
But the rapist will see that if they assault a woman who's "dressed like a slut" will be blamed and not them.
Which is horrible.

I'm going to cut back to serial killers because one specific one I know of was raised to believe that you should take advantage of anyone and everything you can.
He was raised being told it's okay to sexually assault girls and women so he did.
I believe at one point, he got in trouble for it and was confused because he was taught that it's what he should do.
That is scary. To think someone is raised to do something bad and really doesn't know it's bad because they were told it's what they're supposed to do o_O

There's also people who were treated badly their whole lives and decide to spread that misery to others.
I've been treated badly by a lot of people most of my life.
I could easily say I want to hurt others because that's all I've experienced.
But I've chosen to try and not hurt people because I know being hurt sucks and I try to avoid it.

The thing is, even if he was raised a certain way he has the choice not to believe what he was told growing up. Lots of people who were raised in strictly religious households use their own critical thinking and sometimes choose to break away from the religion, for example, or practice it very differently. And people have homophobic or white supremacist parents but they themselves hold the opposite beliefs. So there's a limit to how much I hold parents responsible for someone's upbringing- parents are just one part of all that a person is exposed to and experiences growing up. And a lot of people do question their parents and question what they're taught, even when they're young.

The 'what was she wearing' thing actually does something super specific to patriarchy- it places all responsibility of sexual morals on the woman. The man literally RAPED someone, but there's no sexual morals applied to him because no matter what he does sexually it's considered normal and natural. Because he's a man. But women have to be modest, women shouldn't be 'easy' or sluts, they have to be pure and innocent and wait till marriage, and if anything happens to them it's their fault because not only are they expected to control themselves, they're supposed to control men too. Men aren't expected to control themselves.

Like, the term 'lolita' colloquially means 'a sexually promiscuous young girl' even though Lolita in Nabokov's novel was a victim of pedophilia. But the rapist in the book, Humbert, didn't become a colloquial term meaning pedophile. Instead Lolita came to mean a slutty young girl. Even though she was a child, and he was a middle aged man; even though he raped and abused her, it is HER name which has judgement attached to it and it's HER sexuality which is judged! THE CHILD IS HELD RESPONSIBLE INSTEAD OF THE ACTUAL ADULT! (Actually even when there were girls speaking up about Chris D'Elia and predators like that a lot of people were saying the girls should have been more worldly wise. They were children at the time! How about we hold the actual adults accountable!)

And going back to rape, people blame literally anything else- the victim, lingerie ads, porn, 'modern women' who're not traditional- they blame EVERYONE ELSE EXCEPT THE CRIMINAL WHO ACTUALLY COMMITTED THE CRIME.

I believe a parent is responsible until the kid turns 18. Anything after that, it's up to their kid.
While it wasn't my parents doing it, I did grow up in a Christian school and was told many things I don't agree with now.
I was going along, blissfully until I started having thoughts different to what I was taught.
It lead to a breakdown lasting a year or a year and a half.
I ended up better after it, though.

In the same school I mentioned, girls weren't allowed to wear pants. It was considered a distraction so we had to wear long skirts.
I didn't think on it much then, but now it's like...Why is it MY fault someone else has no self-control Bu

I've heard that said about girls too. I also hear people use the term "underage girl" when they mean a CHILD.
I've heard of cases where the victim is blamed despite being a child.
And sometimes it's the mother who blames the child which is ridiculous.
Like....I can't even >Bu

I thought heavenly hash WAS a “usual” flavour lol. But maybe I’m wrong.
I like most nuts apart from peanuts. Hazelnuts and macadamian nuts and cashews and almonds. But pistachios are my fave.

I don't remember where you live, but maybe it's normal there and where I live just sucks Bu
We can't have nice things here uB<

Pecans, almonds, and cashews are my favorites. I've never had an actual hazelnut - just stuff flavored like it. Actually, the coffee I'm drinking right now has hazelnut creamer in it xD
I don't really feel one way or the other about macadamia nuts because I've only had them in cookies that I didn't care for.

I don't even know if I've had hazelnut in chocolate ._.
The only things I see are our coffee creamer and that spread you put on food.
I've eaten that. If it has chocolate mixed with it, then I've had it with chocolate u8
