Yeah, anime wasn't popular when I was a kid.
Like...they had Toonami and I know other kids watched it but we had so very little anime stuff at stores.
And when a store would pop up, it would quickly disappear >Bu

I got my second COVID shot this morning.
While waiting, I was thinking "I never thought I'd see something like this in my life..."

Right. It'd still be nice to go to a shop in person.
This one store had anime and manga and figurines and plushes and everything, but it went out of business.
I'd been going there for soooooo many years and it just really made me sad ;;

Like Y2K was kind of freaky but it never came to be.
Never thought I'd see a sickness this bad killing off so many people in my lifetime.

ah.......well something you can tell your grandkids/grandnieces/grandnephews about sometime in the future. like instead of the "I had to walk who-knows-how-many-miles in how-many-feet-deep of snow just to get school," instead, you can tell them about how you survived an apocalypse pandemic lol. xD;;

This second shot is kicking my ass.

My body is aching a lot and I've been feverish all day and I didn't sleep good.
Also, I was so tired last night so I got ready for bed and all of the sudden, I started freezing.
Like teeth-chattering freezing.
I had to sleep with two blankets because I was so cold.
Then the rest of the night, I was really hot.

Well, the first one - I didn't notice anything 8u
A lot of people did say the second one was rough and I agree.
However, my mom said my aunt didn't feel anything from her second shot.
I think my dad had a few side effects.

maybe the first shot is.........milder? iunno, which vaccine did you get? we don't get a choice, apparently the vaccine we get depends on availability, although i think the clinic versions are mostly astrazeneca.
