Welcome! Oh! I have this machine that allows me to get information off of computer hard drives and one of the old computers had my daughter's baby pictures!!! And toddler! So happy!

Getting stuff off old hard drives is a pain =A= one of my old drives crashed... had my rainbow bright collection on it... =/ now i gotta redownload it

Now I feel even worse about throwing out my dead computers. LOL Though the stuff I really wish I'd been able to keep is actually on old floppy disks. Stories and stuff.

I'm starting to feel a little better. For awhile there I wasn't even going on IM like I usually do, because communicating made my brain feel drained of energy.

how old of a floppy disk we talkin? o3o like those really HUUUUGE floppy disks or the late 90's early 00's before cd floppy disks.

I think my SD card reader has a floppy disk reader section o3o

I remember floppies. I thought they were the coolest. XD But at the same time, I had just gotten my first computer for Christmas. I miss that computer and those old games. One was a dinosaur game called Designasaurus II that aloud you to use a known dinosaur or combine parts of dinosaurs and create monstrosity! XD I had a T-Rex body with a triceratops head, ankylosaurus tail, and I can't remember if you could change the legs or "arms". But still it was fun. Then you went to a world in the prehistoric times and I don't remember what the point of the game was. XD But I do remember at one point I had a mommy dino wanting me to protect her eggs. Which I did pretty well. Then there was a game called Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure. And the other one called Commander Keen 4 - Secret of the Oracle: Slug Village. My mom actually won that game. She liked it as much as I did. lol Ahhh memories.
