Huh? I know how to shoot a gun, but I don't think I'd ever shoot at an animal unless my life depended on it --not even with an air gun. I dunno, it's one of those "karma" things, though I don't believe in karma per se...

I wouldn't think that an animal (no matter how dangerous it is) would attack a person unless it has reason to. I never said anything about them being helpless. I don't much like pigeons (because they're dirty).

A ha ha ha...I was semi-surrounded by a pack of coyotes once. They were totally just trollin', I heard them all killing something a little while beforehand, so they couldn't have been that hungry. My fault for not noticing them all congregating around me while I was having my cigarette, I suppose. Though, I guess maybe since there were like 15 of them, things might have been a little thin...if I hadn't been right next to the door I'd have flipped out and applied a liberal dose of axe swinging until they scrammed.

Worst part of winter: the coyotes coming out of the swamp all together in that huge pack of theirs. Two or three times a night I'd get woken up by them having a howl over something. Drove the cat neurotic too.

But now that it's spring, all I get woken up by is terrible stress-colds. *mopes* I guess that means I have nothing better to do today/tomorrow than be online, though...

@Meme: Whoa, for serious? I'm a city kid, and though I go out to the woods for church retreat every year or so, everything's pretty tame. I guess the most "wild" animal I've seen outside of a zoo would be deer (which are awesome, hence the SN) and the closest animal that came to attacking me was a skunk. XD; I did get bitten by animals a couple of times as a kid though --people's pet birds (including my own) and a pet turtle. I guess I liked sticking my grubby little fingers in animals' faces back in the day. XD;

*pats your back* Stress colds don't sound so great. I recently realized (this year) that apparently I do have some sort of seasonal allergy. I just never noticed it was seasonal... just like how I didn't realize when my birthday or certain holidays (*cough*Christmas Eve*cough*) came around. Not the most perceptive person. *headfloor*

Yeah, I live kinda out in the middle of nowhere, so I run into various critters all the time. Like I've been chased across my yard by an angry male turkey because I accidentally came to close to their nesting spot...which was right outside my back door. -__- When the land around here was less developed we had whole herds of dear that would come around and eat all our stuff. XD They're still here, just less of them. I clipped a deer on my way home last night...scary for both of us, I imagine. It's inevitable where I live, though, that you're going to hit a deer once or twice in your life.

And then there are all the horses...and the goat...and the chickens...and that damn donkey that is so damn loud you can hear him a mile away...

I make it sound like I live in a zoo.

Aha, even so, it seems like you enjoy it. You're more of a country person, then? :)

Indeed I am. I don't really like having tons of people around all the time...much prefer my lair half a mile off from anyone. I'm also very, very fond of cold.

So, basically, I'm destined to live in Canada.

Oh, I'm doing well. After that post, I went to take a nap where I had more weird dreams O__o

Though I love the country, I think I'm pretty content with the city. I love how everything's close at hand --the mall, the theater, the bookstores; even theme parks and museums and the beach aren't too far off. -v- Everything's very convenient.
