Ohhh we used to have something called CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) every year in Toronto at the Exhibition Place. There will be rides and games and music and shows and horse performances (because the Medieval Times restaurant is there as well) and the exhibition halls would showcase agriculture, food, arts and crafts, government and trade displays. Also, during CNE, the Canadian International Air Show would also perform. The entire area where CNE is hosted is considered a National Historic Site.
It was like a BIG deal but ever since COVID, it hasn't been brought back and, sadly enough, in recent years, the CNE hasn't gotten as much people as in previous years. It's practically a family tradition to go for most Canadians. When I was younger, we'd go at least once a year, during the few weeks that its opened (normally during the last few weeks of August, right before Labour Day and September, before school starts). It's also known as Canada's largest annual fair.
142 years of tradition.....and now there's risk of it closing forever. D: there's a petition to "Save the CNE" so that it comes back next year.

Yeah, the fair and the 4th of July fireworks show was cancelled because COVID too :\
It's kind of sad that as people get older, what they found so fun and magical in their youth is just bland and has lost its magic.
I used to be so happy around Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Those three holidays and those three months made me happier than the rest of the year.
Now they're just another day.
Today is the same as Christmas. Boring and nothing magical.
I'm sure people can bring it back. It's just been a rough couple years 8u

A lot of stuff has been cancelled because of covid lol.
Yeah I know. now that people are older, the younger generation only care about stuff like their phones and stuff. they're rather stay indoors than go outside and take part in a historical fair that's been around for over 100 years. also, it might be true that the current generation these days aren't as into procreating for the purpose of continuing the family line, people don't really want to reproduce these days. xD;; so with less children, less people want to go to fairs with lots of chaos.
I hope so.

Stupid COVID. No one likes you go away >Bu
I...can't say much on people not wanting to produce children 8u;
I never wanted to have kids, but I also have a sister who is the right age to be my kid.
So...I kinda got one anyways xD;
I think it can depend on the kid. If they're curious and want to know more, they'll take interest in things.
Sometimes I feel stupid because I freak out over antiques and stuff. Even trees. Because they're so old.
Like "WOOOOOOOW THIS TREE IS A HUNDRED YEARS OLD 8888888U" and people are like "It's a tree who cares >Bu"

I just got my second dose of the vaccine today. And I was also developing a headache before going in. UGH.
yeah i dunno if i want kids myself. it seems mighty PAINFUL. that's the only thing i'm concerned about lol. i don't like pain.
LOL whenever I see a historical building with one of those placard historical detail stands, I have to wander over and read it while everyone else in my fam are like "who cares, let's go to the next stop" lol.

Are you still feeling better? The second one kicked my butt a little for a few days xD
Childbirth always freaked me out ._.
It does seem very unpleasant what with all the sickness and pain and then giving birth and then raising the kid(s).
Bleh 8u
Yeah, I like to read those too :3
There's actually a small cemetery across town that has one and I always wanted to read it, but it's kinda...beside a busy road xD;

well my headache is gone, i wasn't expecting it to stay, thank god. the shot though......my arm feels bruised and numb and i can't raise it past a certain height lol. my sister is apparently feeling sore too lol.
yeah. so much WORK ugh.
yeaaaah when i stop by the side of the road just to read a historical placard, everyone has to stop with me lol. that or they just keep walking ahead and leave me alone til they realize that i'm not with them lol.

Yeah, the first injection spot didn't bug me, but the second one was hot, felt bruised, and just hurt 8u
My family kept telling me to massage the area.
I don't know...if that actually helps but they nagged me constantly Bu
It's funny too because some women like being pregnant and others are like "MY HUSBAND WILL NEVER TOUCH ME AGAIN >Bu"
We have a cemetery where my grandparents and other family are buried.
They have this...large concrete bible near the entrance.
I knew what it said but my sister wanted to go read it.
It was a nice walk and a nice read, despite me knowing the verse and have heard it a million times.
I also just like walking around and reading gravestones 8u
Sometimes it's sad because a person will have no actual gravestone because they either couldn't afford it or no one knows who they were.
Even though I believe that you bury a husk and the soul is what truly is a person, everyone who gets buried deserves a gravestone.

Yeah the first one was......well I still felt bruised and stuff but the reaction for the this second dose feels.......so much worse lol. Like I feel like my entire body has aches and pains......and I have no idea if its my normal aches and pains or if its vaccine aches and pains lol.
ROFLMAO.
my cousin in america likes gravestones. and cemeteries. and generally likes to wear black with black lips and black nailpolish and stuff. she's only like......a year younger than me I think and she's still a goth. XD some people grow out of the goth phase. she didn't lol.
oh and did i mention that she's also a taxidermist? XDDDDD she's around dead bodies all the timeeee. XD

My body ached a lot too with the second shot.
I mean I always ache but I could tell it was the shot.
Should only last a few days so that's good at least u8
This woman I watch on Youtube talked about it and was like "Pregnancy: the reviews are mixed \8u/"
I think being a goth is just a lifestyle and not a phase. I've been called a goth and asked if I was one because most of my wardrobe is black, I love dark things, and I have a kind of monotone voice and rarely smile.
I remember driving around and seeing a taxidermy place next to a BBQ place.
So any time taxidermy comes up, I'm reminded of that >xD
