I seem to recall it happening before, but I'm honestly not sure at this point?

I wonder if it depends on the event... for instance you'd have to create a new banner combining the event images, or find a way to overlay them, and then the event button where the tips slideshow normally lives would have to either alternate between event buttons or there would need to be a way to display two at once....

I'd imagine simply having two banners display at once? But I know nada of coding, so honestly I'm just guessing lol

Well, one would have to be "on top" of the other in cases where the new image part overlapped, right?

The banners do overlay when there are two events at once. I think we had both the caravan and the Spring event together a few years back. And that's how I remember it was.

I do wonder if the Christmas even and the caravan didn't overlap too last year, granted doughnight is the whole month and all.
There too the two banners co-existed together. But maybe I'm remembering that one wrong. I'm sure for the Spring event though.

OOooh, I didn't think of that! But of course the Doughnight-Christmas event and the Donut Shop event would overlap!

I think she makes new art.
Her style keeps improving so it makes sense she wants to re-do it again, even if she uses previous pieces as inspiration.


I don't think it's a problem having the Caravan at the same time as any event, code-wise.
But I think it's good that they don't overlap, so people will be kinda active both during the event and during the Caravan visit. Which is the purpose of both, I guess.

Hm, spreading it out does keep the site livelier for longer, that's true.
I get quieter in between events, even if I don't stop posting, and probably others do, as well.

Do you ever make up little stories about what the event NPCs are doing, in between events?
They're definitely not your typical seasonal worker, so what do they do when they aren't in the spotlight?

I don't know.
Caravan sellers go from a town to another town, so I'm assuming Grog goes to another place with his Candy Caravan to sell his items?
