I know the ability to search our posts was removed due to stress on the server(s) but I'm certain there was at least an online counter showing how many people were on.
It would probably have been around at the start of the site 8u

I do remember the search option though, but I never really used it much. So I did not care.
But, yeah, there were enough active users to stress the server.
And there was also that thing about deleting users. That was a problem too, but I don't remember the reason any more.

I think it was for inactive accounts? Like I remember back in the heyday where everyone was making mules and stuff lol.
Of course, maybe now that the site is slowed down a lot, we can bring back search and user count lol. Although maybe not user count, the number would probably be depressing lol.

I do have mules too, I am even using one of them on a almost daily basis.
(The other one, Useffel, I want to keep him for the good memories, but I'm not logging into him.)
I don't know how low is too low, so I probably would not know whether to be depressed. XD
It all depends on one issue: is it not enough to be worth keeping the site up? THAT would be depressing.

I'm not entirely sure why accounts couldn't be deleted. I want to say it had something to do with posts on the forum, but that memory is pretty much all gone xD;
There are some accounts being deleted now, though.
I've noticed some of the older, inactive accounts are gone 8u
If you wanted back into that mule, you could have asked for help u8

I just feel a bit sad lol, I did have some items on there, mainly just extras and stuff. The reason I couldn’t get back in was because the email I used for that account is one I no longer have access to lol. So even if I could relogin, it’ll have to send an email to that account that I have no access to. XD

There's a chance you can still get into it.
Firn might be able to change the email on the account to another email you can access.
I'm not 100% sure on that but you can always ask if you really want back in.

starkad changed mine!
I could not access to Useffel (cause I no longer have useffel.info, and the mail was registered there) but he set a new mail, and voila, I could access again.
Not that I ever log into it nor I have any items there, but anyway I would have missed him if the account was deleted.
But, of course, I could prove that was my mule. That helped.
