Cooking isn’t too hard. Unless it a fancy stuff lol. Fancy Chinese stuff which requires special ingredients and spices.

I have memory issues and I also zone out, so I'm afraid of doing something wrong.
I remember heating some noodles up for my sister and my aunt told me to put some milk in the pan while heating the noodles up.
I was gone for like 2 minutes, checking on my sister in the tub and when I went back into the kitchen - the milk had boiled out and left a thick blackness all over the pan.
I started having a panic attack.
I was able to scrape all the black off, though.

Never EVER leave boiling milk unattended. If you’re going to do something else, take the milk off the stovetop because even if it’s been a minute, it will boil over. Did it once, never did it again. Since that first time, I’ve always stopped doing everything else I’m doing if I’m gonna boil milk lol. It needs to be watched. XD

Milk is not to be trusted ¬¬
Boiling in general can become a mess.
That's why I like slow cooking, you can leave it unattended for hours and get home for a hot meal.
And most of baking is quite save too.
Now we have a kitcher with a timer to switch off each of the stove burners (is that the word?) independiently.
So I can cook some spagetti, set its timer to 6 min or whatever the package says, and it will turn off automatically. I can leave it alone, or cook something else in the meantime without paying any attention. It's cool.

Woooow a smart stove lol. I need one of those! XD sounds pretty convenient. Our stove, you can set a timer and it will beep when time runs out but that’s about it. XD
I personally love boiled milk, especially in winter, with a bit of honey. Too bad though, we rarely buy milk as it is lol, unless my sister gets the idea to want to bake something. Rarely do people drink milk in my household, a lot of the time when we buy milk, the only two people who would straight up drink milk is my dad and I. XD

Right. I learned that that day xD
I actually heat milk in the microwave a lot and it never went wrong, so I thought I had time to check on my sister and go back to the pot.
I remember my mom telling me to watch the pot of water she was boiling so I just stood there for ages, staring at it. My dad saw me and asked what I was doing and I told him I was watching it for her. When my mom came back, my dad was like "How could you tell her to watch it boil XD" like it was a cruel joke to make me stand and wait for it u8

Boiling water isn’t too bad, but if you just let it boil and boil, all the water might get boiled away and you’ll ruin the pot if you’re using the stovetop to boil water to cook something.
Milk is fine microwaved. But I like boiling my milk because it gets all frothy, like how cafes use boiled milk to make their frothy lattes. XD

I've boiled water numerous times xD
I'm never boiling milk again u8
I make my hot chocolate with milk instead of water, so I microwave the milk.
My aunt got her panties in her crack and yelled at me, saying the milk was going to spill out and make a mess.
1. I'm not a 2 year old.
2. I've done this a billion times.

Yeah, smart stove is supper cool.
It's a game changer, being able to do something while cooking. Like peeing!
How many times you want to pee just in the wrost moment xD
I like my hot chocolate a bit thick, so I actually cook it with a bit of cornstarch. Yummy.
Stove is a must for this though.
But anyway... I don't have a microwave ^^;

Wooow you don’t have a microwave lol. Wouldn’t know what to do without one. Much easier to microwave leftover food than to reheat it on the stove top lol.
Yeah I love boiled milk lol. If I get milk, I’d make hot chocolate or throw in one of those coffee instant drink packs. Never heard of using cornstarch though.
