If you ask for a hot chocolate in Spain, you'll find that it's thicker than in most other countries - because we like dipping something sweet!
Typically "churros".

The first time I ordered a hot chocolate in another country I was like "WTF is this? hot milk with cocoa?"
Nah, I don't like microwaves that much.
I had them in pretty much all my rental apartments, and I ended up using them because they were there.
But when we finally bought our place we decided the use we would give it did not justify the space it would need on the counter. So we did not buy one.
I don't miss it to be honest.

I used to use water to make my hot chocolate.
One day I was like "I wonder how it would taste if I use milk u8"
I'd never used milk because heated milk tasted weird.
I LOVED this hot chocolate with milk ._.
Instantly addicted u8
Unfortunately, the hot chocolate I drink now is made with water because you can't put milk in a Keurig xD
Apparently Mexican hot chocolate has cinnamon in it.
I love my Mexican heritage and a lot of the food but I don't like cinnamon in my hot chocolate >Bu

There is a saying here: "Make things clear and the chocolate thick."
Yeah, churros!
I think they are different in Mexico, the dough is slightly softer (in Spain they are crunchy) and they dust them with sugar and cinnamon (here only sugar).
But, yep, that's it.

OHHHH. Yeah okay I see, some idioms and sayings in other languages would sound weird if directly translated into English. Like some Chinese ones lol.

I like mine with nothing in the middle xD
Me being a churro addict is a running gag in my family.
Speaking of translations, I was telling my sister how some people will like...say two sentences and the translation will say they said two words only.
Like say someone was like "Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah!" and the translation would be "Okay!" or "Screw you!"
Like there's now way that's all they said >Bu

Yeah some things get literally lost in translation lol. Like an entire sentence in English would be like….three characters in Chinese or something. XD

I find it interesting that some phrases can't really be translated.
I've heard a few people from different countries say "Well, I can't really translate it into English for you 8u"
I remember seeing this image of soup and I don't remember what language it was in, but it was from an Asian country.
It said "Soup for Sluts" when translated into English.
I don't know if it was a real thing or made just to be a meme but I saw it and laughed xD
