Hart- Your mom and aunt sound really chill. My rents are homophobic. My mom seems to think homosexuals are trying to take over and corrupt us. I never know what to say to her. I just don't talk to them about certain stuff...

I must be kind of brain dead, because I didn't catch what you meant that you'd said about cartoons. ^_^;;

Yay, I didn't get sent home from work~ They just stuck me in a corner with hand sanitizer, a box of tissues, and a garbage can and told me not to breathe on anything. Which I suppose is better than missing.

Yeeeeah, Nuke, I feel you, my parents/family are pretty much the same way.

Yeah, it's kind of sucks. I can't really talk to them about anything. I think the place I live is slightly homophobic in general, but then we do have like love awareness days and such for same sex couples (I can't remember what it was actually called). I wish I could go to stuff like that. I'm just kind of afraid to.

My bro's also kind of like that. I can tell he thinks homosexuals are weird and he isn't sure how to approach them. He doesn't hate them though... I don't think.

And it's not that I think my family members are bad people, but sometimes it's hard to feel that way and see how they aren't very accepting...

x__x The kid is giving me back pains... most of the time, he won't be able to sleep unless someone holds him until he does.

@Nuke: Yeah, I feel torn like that toward my family sometimes too, since they're all super-super-conservative and I'm about as left as you can get. I just try to never, ever mention politics around them. Though when they themselves bring it up, it's hard to avoid it...

My state is pretty liberal in parts, but ultra conservative in others. Unfortunately, I live in one of the most conservative counties. T___T

Thanks, Alice. ^^ Lawl, yes, I was an adorable terror of a child. I think that's why my parents switched from doing the whole holding/rocking thing to driving me around until I fell asleep...more distance between them and the fangs.

Ahahaha, that'd make for a fun scene if I ever wrote a story with vampires in. "Oh no, one of them hid in the back of my car! Oh...wait...it's falling asleep...guess I can't stop driving now..."
