I think I'll have my char be the librarian instead of head of Slytherin house o;
Maybe we could start by my guy's arrival at Hogwarts to take over the position of Librarian since the predecessor recently retired or died or such, and as Head of Ravenclaw house your guy was most acquainted with the libraries contents aside from the previous Librarian so you get to fill me in or such o;
we probably should invent a danger as well to keep it going. I vote for a crisis instead of a dark wizard, you? :P

lol i can kind of see my character being snappy and apprehensive about it, like 'wtf are you doing in MY library and what do you know about books anyway'. xD
yeah crisis works for me. =u=
a lot of escapees from azkaban then? some kind of magical plague? students loosing powers? lots of squibs in recent years? muggles found out about the wizarding world?

that was my thought as well! xD
cause your char was really tight with the last librarian and then suddenly you're stuck with me and my char is not going to look like a typical booknerd so yeah bad first impressions abound xP
Students losing powers would be cool? Maybe like a worldwide weakening of magical cores and the cause is unknown cause it happens to literally everyone? And the answer would be in a little book stashed in the Hogwarts library that not even the old librarian knew about and it's written in this weird language or such that nobody can read so we are sent to trace the language or such? x3
