Hm, so I was trying to figure out what to do with this piece of tourmaline, and it occurs to me, you guys might have some ideas.

Anyone have a notion? It's one of the black tourmaline pieces, not really gemstone quality but awfully close, about the size of my thumb, the crystal shape is clear at the top but melds into a matrix near the bottom.

Hmmm, you can always try to turn it into a necklace?
But it may be a little heavy for that

I meant how should I cut/polish/shape it, not what to do with the finished piece after that. >.<
Cabochon? Faceted? Carved? It's just translucent enough I could even attempt intaglio but it would be very difficult and I don't know how well it would turn out; there would need to be a very strong light source to make that show up well.

Yeah, they seem interesting. Of course I have procrastinated on homework this weekend. Dumb me. But I have Monday off so I should be okay.

Girl got a booty! lol. My butt is flat as all get out. All of the fat went to my boobs. I got some big ole hips though.

I can't see my feet when I look down. I can touch my toes though! I'm pretty flexible for someone my weight.

Small breasts are lovely. Lots of people like them. As long as you like yourself it doesn't matter what size they are.

I don't think any amount of leaning over will allow me to see my toes. lol. But when I'm sitting down I can touch my toes to my nose.

I have no idea what to do with gems. If I get jewelry it's already cut and such.

Vineda - That's weird to me. Do you have a job, like do you make your own money? Or do they pay for everything? Because if they pay for everything I can understand them not splurging on pretty dresses and internet points.

My boobs are giant AND pendulous. It sucks. I've finally found a bra that vaguely fits. It's still not perfect, but it's a lot nicer than anything else I've had.



Man, I wear what I want. lol. I don't care what people say.

I only make enough to pay for food and some smaller expenses (such as a game or donation and some clothes per month) so technically I make money, but not enough to actually make some leeway in saving.

So we went halfway. Until I find a well paying job they help me out, I let them decide on rules for outfits and such. Half the time I don't really mind since to me, I'm getting the better deal. In exchange for waiting to buy those things, I get an opportunity to save more and get closer to having a place of my own...

(even if finding a job is proving nigh on impossible at the moment)

light: yes, they also pay for some of my stuff. So I manage.

Oh, I wish you luck with the job-hunt. I don't know how it is where you are, but here it is very difficult to find employment!

It's the same here. It's also annoying that due to the latest alterations of the law (they're trying to abolish the care-system) I am now uneligible for any kind of extra income until I find a Full-time, non interim job...
(even though that's impossible to find in today's jobmarket)

And although I agree that the refugees need help and a place to stay, I find it very difficult to deal with that where I'm uneligible, they immediately get the income as soon as they arrive and they get more than I would've gotten if I'd even been elligible...
(they also don't need to pay the taxes that provide the income, where I am obliged to pay them (even if I don't have the income to provide the taxes)

Oh, you have a Masters? Are you fluent in any languages besides English? Maybe you could give lessons on the side. I hear that pays okay. Or you could join JET. That would give you some experience and maybe you could find a job easier.
