I've known a few people who have swore of IRL women (and men). I've told them to go to japan and marry their waifu, because, apparently that is a thing in Japan now. o-o,
That's true too. Everyone has their triggers.
There are also people who never learned the difference between fantasy and reality and think it's alright to copy what they see.
Even if it isn't fantasy, just dangerous stuff like MythBusters.. They even say on the show "DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME PEOPLE" and they do it anyway... =A=
Mom was in the hospital one day(forget why) and they brought this kid in. Kid saw some skateboard shit off youtube and tried to mimic it and got hurt. =x=
Monkey See, Monkey Do syndrome is ... scary in our society...
Speaking of triggers... this has been coming up recently.
Adult person reincarnates with their memories. They are now a child.. are they a pedo if they fall in love with someone their new body's age? Or would you prefer they fall for someone older more closer to their soul's age? mind warping ~(oAo)~
(people were calling the MC of by the grace of the gods a pedo because he's like.. 41 years old but was reincarnated and is now 11 years old, and the anime was pushing a romantic relationship with a 12 year old.. light novel/manga doesn't have this romantic relationship at all, and a lot of the comedic "I'm an uncle don't fall for a little girl" skits that the mc mentally goes through.. also cut out ALL OTHER KIDS the MC's age just so this girl is the ONLY child he knows.. even turned a group of adventurers OLDER than they were in the LN just so they weren't close to his age. >:x SO many issues I have with the anime... so many... -hugs the LNs and Manga-)
Other than Isekai, I been reading "The Unwanted Undead Adventurer" ovo its a nice story! (JNovel Club has just started releasing Vol 8 chapters.. >w< squeee) No harems, no toddlers with harems, no annoying girls. well.. I find that one girl annoying.. o3o, It needs an anime.
Oh and started reading Holmes of Kyoto (finally)... did I already mention this? x-x I feel I have...
Mapping is a good fantasy series too. (though they recently killed off my favorite character in the LN... fk you author.. bring him back QAQ ugh my heart... dunno if I can handle going through that in the manga.)
what else am I reading... >A< ugh
Was Reading Dungeon Busters.. the story itself is interesting, but the mc ... I dont like him...
OH! Warning about Campfire Cooking. There is a small part that triggered people.
In the world he lives in, there are slaves. Debt Slaves mostly (I think there are criminal slaves too.. not sure) but in the country he's taken up residence in, the slaves have legal rights too and if the owner disregards those rights, he could get arrested.
Well he asked if sex slaves were a thing and if he could possibly get one. He was told there are women who would be willing to do so, but at that point they'd just go to work in the red light district before the debt got so bad, so he'd be better off going there. He accepted that answer. It's the only time anything actually sexual is talked about.
I saw it more as the author's attempt to expand on how the slavery system. Other's took it as "MC just wants to rape women!" and dropped the series so.. thought I'd warn you about that bit.
I don't think a rapist would bother asking about it though... And it's a good thing he asked. Now he knows that he's not allowed to do that. Better to ask for information instead of just assume and get into trouble.
