atm...i work for the next 7 days *tonight included* the entire cashier shift. through easter...and through my birthday 
but usually, i work just nights...not all day

yes, i'm rather ticked that i can't spend my sister's days off with her. she had originally planned to be in town for both occasions since she never works sundays and this coming week, she had wednesday and thursday off.
but apparently the new cashier had surgery last week, so she can't work until NEXT week....ugh. i understand, surgery is very important....but really? 2 days after getting hired she announces this? =/

Two days after being hired? She should have mentioned that during the bloody interview! >.< When I was interviewed I told them I get dehydrated easily, so they don't mind me keeping a drink on the register.

I'm surprised that she's going to still have a job to come back to, they usually require that you disclose if there's going to be anything that might interfere with you working shortly after starting before starting, adn if she knew about this surgery in advance she should have put her start date as the week she can resume working post surgery.

I know if someone did that at my job they'd probably just be fired because they didn't give enough of a warning before hand. :/
