I need about the same amount too. I been lazy going about it though. I'm still not sure what I should do with bats and food. Any suggestions?

You should go and buy stuff in the store with the bats. As for the food you should go and maybe buy a knuffel or clothes?

If I buy a knuffel, what are the benefits of it? Also what type should it be or does it matter? I'll have to look at the clothes and see if I see anything I like.

The benefits of having a Knuffel:
Gaining items that can only be obtained through digging (or you will have to pay for them with a good sum of money sometimes)
Gaining 1000 fp for every 10 levels your Knuffel reach (for wild knuffel its items instead of foo points, which are also very exclusive items)
Cute knuffel= happiness
The type only matters for digging. There are 6 elements and each are better in digging according to their element, although you can level their skills to sufficient in otehr elements when it comes to digging. I suggest to have one of each element at some point of time :D

Make sure you put points in a different element because they level up much faster that way.

No problem! Knuffels are fun and very useful. Oh yeah, another thing, some of the tasks for this event require digging materials, so if you want to avoid spending food on the items having a knuffel (mostly) saves you fp cos you can dig for the items yourself.
