Oh are you talking about the Axent wear cat ear headphones. I've loved those for over 6 years now. :}

The actual headphones were indeed released a year ago.
That was almost 2 years after the money was scrambled together to make them.
And that was a whole 3 years after the first designs, and they happen to be made by an art buddy of mine since '09.
So I've known of them since they were only a concept that I loved so much. :}
