Well I'm not sure for the others but I have lots of free time during the summer break and not much to do. Have been doing lots of posting I guess but not that I lose my sleep over it. The forums here just help me pass time and helo with boredom so the gift felt like a extra bonus, not something I was aiming for.
Though I really like the border and wouldn't mind to have it.

sort of a perk of no job... though I try to do all the household stuff..

oh man yeah I get bored easily/sometimes I don't want to game/sometimes I feel guilty when I game.

Or sometimes I haven't found a highly involving fic, or waiting for chapters to be uploaded.

It's so pretty I know I keep saying that but still.

I suppose if the forums were heaps more busy I'd be inclined to post more and occasionally I'll play the avatar games for funs sake :3

Speaking to someone with a high post count from what used to be a busy forum but is now deader than kofk. All the regulars are gone...just about.

And I got most of that from the years I was active, so 2007 to 2011.

And yes some was spam, in the spam threads but others was actual proper chatter or from games, or my journal posts, etc.

A lot of my posts were from years ago as well, back when it used to be me, Zia, ceres, feather, lian and pengu. I remember dicking around with Penguin and Zia so many nights and we'd just fill up threads with random chatter. Of course, that was back when I was younger and had tremendous amounts of free time.

I mean, technically I've been rather free lately due to uni break but I'm also doing work/uni related things. I'll probably disappear again in 2 weeks because I'm starting thesis (finally).

@top posters talk: Okay, so I actually keep count since last month XD Last month my average daily post count was 27 I think. For this month so far it's... *counts* 37 *blames Grog*
And I'm not losing my sleep at all XD I'm just lucky because for the most part I sit at work doing nothing, so I rather chat with people But still, I only got that active since the Top Posters contest was introduced. And I'm so mad at myself for not hoping to get into the top 5 the first month when the Shiva Arms were for winning, I mean, I'm dying for them Shiva is love, Shiva is life, Shiva namo namah! All hail Shiva! Amen! XD
And it's not an effort for me, I just enjoy my time here and chat on a lot of threads xD
