They come to you with the shameful desires for revenge and ill-fortune they harbor towards their enemies, knowing they dare not speak them abroad lest they be suspected of sabotage. They come to you when they will burst unless they can share the secret of a planned surprise, but when they don't want to spoil the surprise. They come to you to when the burden of their past dark deeds threatens to drown them, and they need a safe outlet. Doctors confide in you after they lost a patient -did they do enough? Was some error they made at cause? But they cannot tell anyone else, lest the others who grieve blame them. Peacekeepers come to you when they need a nonjudgmental ear after they lose hope that they will find a resolution for a case, but know that they can never admit it to the public who still needs to believe there is hope. Councilors come to you when they feel the need to talk through a patient's problems, and cannot go elsewhere because of confidentiality. Politicians come to you when the backdoor dealing becomes so complex that even they need an outlet.
