but but ooh I've got a cool idea for our 1x1!
what if we make the enemies a group of Muggleborns! They're so bitter about always being the main victims and being blamed for everything wrong in the Wizarding world etc that they decide to use some ancient dark magic (found in the tiny book we discussed earlier) that drains all the magic from the world to get respect from all purebloods and other wizards that just cause they grew up as muggles doesn't mean they're weaker or such? >w>

oooooh, that is such a cool idea. ouo
let me throw in another one: the magic power isn't actually gone (because it would be strange for it to just disappear), a part of it gets sealed in the book, or within those muggleborns, or somewhere else, but seeing as there isn't enough space to contain it in there some of it goes rampart instead and so weird things are starting to happen all around the muggle world and such. ;o
also squibs are suddenly gaining powers (and maybe total muggles too) and so everyone blames them because you know, who else could it be -- they've always wanted power after all.

maybe the muggleborns want to shift the balance of magic; cause purebloods have always thrown this myth around that your magic is stronger when you have a pure bloodline, it's a total lie but it's one more thing that they've always used to bash muggleborns and so a select group of muggleborns start using the book to drain the magic of purebloods and give it to muggleborns and squibs BUT the extra power isn't good for everyone and some of the muggleborns get sick because of it, it's like a disease that gives them sudden uncontrollable bursts of magic and high fevers etc so at Hogwarts they're dealing with sick and over-powerful muggleborn children while all pureblood children have the exact opposite where they burn their hands just trying to make a spell with their wand etc, constant fatigue and such.
And then it turns out the main leader of the enemy group is the Headmaster himself! He/she turns out to be a muggleborn and he/she created the spell together with the seventh year muggleborns or something from all houses disguised as monthly meetings for career advice or OWL study sessions or such >w>

I'll make my character a Half-blood c;
so he won't be as much affected by anything as the dark magic effects on him are balanced out slightly by his mixed blood o;
He'll just get splitting headaches one time and a megaburst of energy the next.
maybe we can start the dark magic storyline, after our guys meet, by having my char notice that there are way more cases of drainage/surpluss of magic in Hogwarts than anywhere else? since it's the concentration point of the enemies c:
we should have a name for the enemies x3
and maybe the title of our roleplay could have the word Conspiracy in it? x'3

you can choose, maybe it doesn't effect adults as much as younger people? Maybe the spell is focused on the next generation so only teens and younger experience it? c;
Take your time, it doesn't really matter much xD
Though Potions is only thought to year 1-5 so if you make him a Potions master you'd have to specifically design your own newt and owl groups since not all students get into those o;
