@Zia
Awe, it's kind of a bummer when parents are like that.
I had such a terrible time with confusing words and letters when I was younger, my mom would read my stories and burst out laughing. I was embarrassed at the time, but I know my stuff from when I was younger was awful. She never hated anything I wrote though. I'd be a little distraught for something like that, though the things I write now I know they'd hate...
I really love elves and Naga, but I only really have written about elves, humans, mages if you count them in a fantasy setting. For many years I've had a fascination with writing about "oddly gendered" species (not humans, usually they're aliens, an experiment or a completely other natural species in the case of fantasy.) They look human, but have some distinct visible different and are always hermaphrodites. I'm kind of obsessed. I think I've said this before, but Nuke is technically both with a male-ish phenotype, but I have other characters that are more female looking, but technically both. I don't know if it's a weird ideological tick or a phase or what. I hope that's not too weird. I think I'm still a bit tipsy from drinking earlier. I should probably go sleep it off.

@Hart- Well, I started as a writer, I always thought I'd grow up to be an author. I like both well, but I wanted to be a writer when I was a kid. I even looked into publishing and such when I was in highschool. But now I'm a little more realistic about it and I try to just do it all for enjoyment. I'm just accustom to writing at this point. I don't really know much else. Heh heh. I hope I don't drown in the job market. I can answer phones~ That's a skill sometimes.
I play in groups, but usually the application RPs are much better. I just feel stupid sometimes when I'm making very long posts in the walk-ins and people are making short, silly posts. It's like going into a comedy club and trying to read dark serious poetry. I just think, geez, I must look like an ouss.
