Haha, all my characters are humans. Because I take them from my stories and most them revolve around humans. Only one of them have elves and only one of them have angels. Actually, two, if you count my very first story that I wrote based on a repetitive dream. I only showed it to my parents and they hated it so I... I don't know what I did with it. But I never showed it to anyone else.

@Nuke: To each their own. I've always thought that role-playing was more exciting than writing. Once I know where a story's going to end, my interest is totally shot. *headfloor*
Aha, you guys really have to find some amazing partners sometime; a skillful writer knows how to balance out their characters in a story. I probably won't RP with anyone who doesn't impress me, hence I tend to end up in one-on-ones now. Back in the day, I was open to doing groups because I moderated an RP forum where there were second language speakers --that was fun too, in its own way, but I had to put up with a lot of characters who had traits you guys just pointed out.
I play human and none human characters, but for the latter, I generally research. >>b

@Zia
Awe, it's kind of a bummer when parents are like that.
I had such a terrible time with confusing words and letters when I was younger, my mom would read my stories and burst out laughing. I was embarrassed at the time, but I know my stuff from when I was younger was awful. She never hated anything I wrote though. I'd be a little distraught for something like that, though the things I write now I know they'd hate...
I really love elves and Naga, but I only really have written about elves, humans, mages if you count them in a fantasy setting. For many years I've had a fascination with writing about "oddly gendered" species (not humans, usually they're aliens, an experiment or a completely other natural species in the case of fantasy.) They look human, but have some distinct visible different and are always hermaphrodites. I'm kind of obsessed. I think I've said this before, but Nuke is technically both with a male-ish phenotype, but I have other characters that are more female looking, but technically both. I don't know if it's a weird ideological tick or a phase or what. I hope that's not too weird. I think I'm still a bit tipsy from drinking earlier. I should probably go sleep it off.

@Hart- Well, I started as a writer, I always thought I'd grow up to be an author. I like both well, but I wanted to be a writer when I was a kid. I even looked into publishing and such when I was in highschool. But now I'm a little more realistic about it and I try to just do it all for enjoyment. I'm just accustom to writing at this point. I don't really know much else. Heh heh. I hope I don't drown in the job market. I can answer phones~ That's a skill sometimes.
I play in groups, but usually the application RPs are much better. I just feel stupid sometimes when I'm making very long posts in the walk-ins and people are making short, silly posts. It's like going into a comedy club and trying to read dark serious poetry. I just think, geez, I must look like an ouss.

I've researched a lot of hermaphrodites, but not enough (at least it doesn't seem so)... From Hermaphroditus (I've looked in other mythologies for counterparts, but I haven't had good luck) to the version of the ideological hermaphrodite Jung bored from alchemy and the biological human hermaphrodite which was actually intersex, as hermaphrodites that occur naturally are like flowers and such species- I'm rather picky about that. I've never heard of xeno-species before. I'll have to look into that.
I see, my parents weren't very harsh. That's hard growing up with... when people are critical like that, but I suppose we all come out of it- whatever things our parents did or didn't do. Lol, the pervert thing is awesome. I'm so going to do that.
I don't think anyone would publish the ridiculous and weirdo stuff I write. *shrug* I could try, but it would be awfully embarrassing once I got rejected. I have something of an ego attached to my writing and I feel I know it would be rejected. I'll be glad to find a job I can do fine~ It's always quite a worry to find a job these days though... and a decent one. It seems like so many people get mistreated.
That's a neat webcomic. I'm not really into furries so much, but I like new stuff to read~ Ty, I shall check it out. Though mayhaps tomorrow, since I'm pretty sleepy. It's about 1am here.

Hello --I was just grabbing some late... late dinner. XD;
"Sue me" is just a sarcastic statement people use. According to Urban Dictionary, it can be summed up to, "Just what are going to do about it?"
UD is pretty useful for stuff like this, so I'll just hand it over to you, Alice. XD

Instead of doing homework today, I ended up reading original fics. Now I've grown to dislike the shipping between "nobodies with low self-esteem" and "Mr. Cool Guy" on top of the whole Asian thing. I've become someone who's impossible to please (or someone who is unimpressed by things aimed towards the general public). DX

.. . Genaral public is something my former Business English teacher would say "kill me right now" about. I've got a really evil character in my story and I know that if I write him the way I want for example, tones of girls will be like "he's just cruel because he hasn't met the right lady! I (my mary sue) would make him completely different!" and I will be like "headwall, he's just cruel because cruelty gives him benefits". General public likes to turn villians into poor misunderstood souls who just need real love and will behave completely differently with their loved ones. But... Sometimes villians are just villians...
.. . Do you often find this nobody+awesomeness shipping in fiction?
