Me too! The Henry Doorly Zoo is my favorite! Okay I'm bias because I've never been to any other zoo, but still. lol

One of our taxi drivers use to drive big rigs to new york.. one of the bridges (the washington one i think) the toll was 100$ and that was 20-30 years ago.. how much is it now o-o

Tolls are redic.. I know they help fund road upkeep (no one's working on 4th street here.. we got a pot hole big enough to be called a pond now >-> I've dubbed it loners pond) but some of the prices are redic.

Thanks! Lots of media has sentient mushrooms. LOL This guy was meant to be one of the smaller ones in the pattern book, but I used bulkier material than the pattern called for.

Yay for summer school for the little one! And for a zoo pass. I am starting to like the zoo here, they're actually making roomy enough enclosures for the critters. The seals used to live in this little thing like a back yard swimming pool, but the last time I was at the zoo they had a lot of space to zoom around.

...A hundred dollars is ridiculous. Can you imagine living in that area and working on the other side?

@Tam: Our sea lions had a little area like a yellow swimming pool. They've recently made a bigger place. There's an Asian themed era and they have red pandas! I wanna see!

@Moi: Cool! I'd like to see it. I love zoos. Why not go alone? I did. Though being along can be boring.

I took my kid sister a couple times. Before spawns. The first time was hilarious. We were trying to find the gorilla area and at the time they didn't have a sign on one side. So we see a building and we're thinking it might be a "staff only" place. But we decided to go in and ask for help. We step in and I said to Kinsley, "I think we found it." I turn around and she has this look of "Really? You think?" We still laugh about it now and then.

I don't like mushrooms to eat. No taste if you ask me. But it is amusing what they grow on. Crap, trees, corpses.
