I only noticed now that the color changed a bit to match the "apricot" color.
They didn't match a thing before. These are nice. :)

That was the problem.
When Firn started drawing she did not stick to any color palette, so she used whatever color felt better. But on the long run most of the older items were noticeably color-mismatched.
Some people liked them though, it somehow made the item stand out, and it was special.
But I personally appreciate all the effort she made to improve old items, they are way more usable now.

Yeah I have noticed that some colours have different shades or tones even though they’re listed as the same color. XD

She used to ask users to vote on items changing.
She cared so much about our thoughts instead of just going through with it without telling us.
She's since stopped asking us, but I think that's okay.
My bestie used to say she shouldn't have asked us at all because it's her art and her site.
I always appreciate how she and starkad care about us.
The Midnight Rose items likely won't change because Firn didn't make them.
Vindrae made them, so she said she would ask Vindrae if she could update them.
I have the rare Kuroneko and I had originally voted no for the change, but I have changed my mind.
I want it to be remade but she said since so many voted no, then she won't be changing it.
I mean, it matches good enough to still use but I'd love to see how she'd change it u8
On topic, I don't remember the last lost item I got so I hope I didn't miss one 8u;

Oh I didn’t know that. And I love the midnight rose set although I was never around when it first came out. I do have the jacket and the undershirt though.

I think the last lost item was a pair of angry eyes lol. It should be….posted a few pages back lol.

I think it was nice of her asking, but on the other hand it proved to be tricky.
There are risks to asking - others may not choose as you wish. That's something that becomes very clear with parenthood.
I'm sorry some people voted against recolors, because now those items are almost unwearable. Like the cloud hair v_v
Kuroneko is a very old item, a black cat which was awarded for joining a drawing contest if I remember correctly.
I think the last Lost item was Angry Eyes (Ecru).

Oh I remember that cat! I never got it though since I never do contests.

I usually don't do contests either. Specially drawing contests.
But back then this was such an small community that it felt ok to join even considering my lack of talent :D

Yeah I’ve never joined the contests. I remember, on another community site, during some events, they had singing contests and all participants got rewards. I did that like once lol.
